Her pale face reflected the light of the moon. He didn't know her. She knew him. His lusty eyes raked over her slim figure. Some said his looks could kill. She didn't like it. Her skin crawled. His eyes scanned. The crowded street made things seem more normal. She knew what this was, she knew she had to leave. His eyes didn't leave her retreating figure, she knew it. His mates were even looking too. He didn't really have mates. He had people. People who would do anything he'd ask. At the drop of a hat. But she knew why. It was to ensure they had at least one more hour on earth. It was to ensure that he could kill without being killed. And it was to ensure that at the end of the day, they'd finally hunt me down.
