he finally got to see jimin today. it had been almost a full five days since the last time he saw the bright boy, and it was torture. jimin had to go in for surgery, he was in a car accident a week before and suffered from many complications. yoongi was just relieved that he was alive. "jiminie.." yoongi whispered sweetly at the boy who was currently wrapped in his arms, head hidden in his chest. yoongi tried to pull away so he could look at him, but jimin refused to let go. "jiminie, i want to see your beautiful face." yoongi whispered, face partially in jimins shoulder. jimin just shook his head, and that when yoongi realized that his shirt was now wet with tears.
yoongi immediately panicked, prying jimin off of him. "jimin? jiminie, are you okay? did i say something?" yoongi rushed his words out, his hands desperately grabbing jimins shoulders. jimin just shook his head softly, his hands covering his face. "i dont want you to see me like this." jimin sternly said, hands attached to his face. yoongi just scrunched up his eyebrows in confusion, and gently took jimins hands down.
and there, right on jimins cheek, was a scar. it was big, coming all the way from the bottom of his face up to almost his cheekbone. jimins tears flowed freely down his face as he watched yoongi look at him. yoongi just shook his head, using his thumbs to wipe jimins tears away. "so beautiful," he mumbled, hands moving to cup jimins face, "just so fucking beautiful."
jimin shook his head quickly, squeezing his eyes shut. "how could you- how could you say that? i look terrible.." jimin cried, voice small. yoongi just took a deep breath and cupped jimins face in his pale hands again. "jimin, i swear to you, that you are the most beautiful person i have ever seen. do you know how much i think about how lucky i am to have you? to get to talk to you and see you everyday? i couldnt ask for anything more. i love everything about you, and this scar is just another thing to add to that list." yoongi said, his voice even and stern.
jimin stayed silent, his mind clearing of all his worries and filling with only one thing. yoongi. jimin smiled eventually, bright eyes shining as he looked to the boy in front of him, the one who was always there, the one who always loved him, his everything. and then after that, neither of them needed to say anything more. they just held each other, simply being grateful for having met each other in the first place.
