park jimin was practically always busy. from being the president of their grade to the top student in all of his classes, plus taking dance practice in basically all of his spare time, you could probably say that he lived a fast paced life. his parents never had time to drop him off or pick him up from school so he would have to walk, but his house was a little over two miles away from their school so he would usually run instead, wearing him out completely by the time he arrived home. then from there he had chores, and so on. but, no matter how utterly swamped the boy was, he always made time for his boy.
jimin rushed to check the time on his watch, "shit-" he muttered to himself as he realized he had to be at a student council meeting in two minutes. he sped his walking into a quick jog, weaving through the crowds of other students filling the hall. as he scanned the area, his eyes landed on a familiar head of hair. jimin whizzed through the many people over to yoongi, planting a quick kiss on his cheek before dashing off to his meeting only a moment later. even though jimin was already gone, yoongi blushed a bright red and touched the place his lips had met his cheek.
jimin always, always, made sure he had time to spend with yoongi. even if it was sometimes only three minutes in between classes, he would spend it all with him. "i'll walk you home today, okay?" yoongi said with rushed words as jimin jogged over to him right before their final class of the day. jimin gave him the same look he always did, the one that said i live far, you dont have to. "im going to walk with you, it was more of a statement than a question." yoongi rolled his eyes, insisting. jimin sighed, "okay, i have to go." he said quickly, "love you." he then added before running off.
yoongi knew jimin couldnt hear him, but he still whispered "love you more" as he watched him run to his next class. they had dated all throughout high school, and thats the way it had always been. neither of them would want it any different, though. "damn, i dont know how you guys do it." seokjin chuckled after he witnessed one of their extremely fast paced encounters. yoongi smiled and shrugged slightly, "we make it work." he put simply, which is what he always said. seokjin nodded, "you definitely do." he said, before leaving.
when they met up at the sound of the final bell, yoongi quickly took jimins hand into his own. "i missed you." yoongi sighed and jimin nodded in agreement, "i missed you too." because even though they saw each other throughout the day, they didnt really see each other like this. "you look beautiful today." jimin stated, admiring his boyfriend with loving eyes. yoongi laughed, "i look the same every day." he said, rolling his eyes. jimin smiled, "exactly. you always look beautiful." and, of course, yoongi blushed brightly, even though he should be used to jimins antics by now.
when they eventually arrived to jimins home, jimin turned to yoongi and smashed a loving kiss to the older boys mouth. yoongi stuttered back in surprise, not expecting for jimin to do that right then. even after all these years, yoongi hadnt gotten used to park jimin, the cutest boy ever, kissing him spontaneously. "i have to do lots of chores tonight, my dads out of town." jimin groaned, which meant he would have to go inside now. "okay, i'll text you." yoongi smiled, letting go of jimins hand and feeling the warmth drain out of him at the loss of contact.
jimin smiled wider in return, "i love you!" jimin yelled on his way up his drive way. yoongi turned on his heal, "i love you more!" he yelled back, cupping his hands around his mouth for extra volume. he could hear jimins loud laughter in the distance, "not possible!" jimin yelled finally, before the shutting of his front door was heard. yoongi smiled to himself as he made the trek back to his own house, which was fortunately not too far from jimins. "yes possible." yoongi whispered to himself in response to jimins statement, even though jimin was not beside him anymore.
