Camila

"He embarrassed me in front of everyone-"

"Embarrassed? Are you kidding me?" Dinah furrowed her eyebrows, "He was protecting you, how did he know about all of that and no one else did?"

"Cause he's fucking nosey, that's why." I sassed.

"You're making it real hard to comfort you." Dinah muttered.

"Then don't." I glared.

"What's gotten into you?" Dinah furrowed her eyebrows. "You're so heartless." She stared.

"Doing good for others gets you nothing but hurt." I mumbled.

"But Jack, he-he protected you-"

"I didn't ask him to." I cut her short.

"He obviously felt obligated since he's still not over you."

"All Jack did was make things worse between me and Cameron."

"He doesn't love you nor does he deserve you, leave him."

"Did Jack deserve me?" I furrowed my eyebrows, thinking out loud.

"I never mentioned Jack." Dinah reminded me.

"Oh, yeah. Right." I shook the thought.

"He's going to be leaving in two days, Camila." She pointed out.

"What's done is done, we broke up. It was never going to last and I'm so sick and tired of you always trying to force me to get back with him-"

"I'm not forcing you to do anything, you didn't have to see him at the hospital for days and you didn't have to tell him about Cameron. I know you want to deny it as much as you can because he broke your heart, but you're still in love with him and how he made you feel."

Jack

There was a knock at the front door and I opened it, Camila stood there and looked at me like she saw a ghost.

"Are you sure you meant to show up here?" I furrowed my eyebrows, my tone was a little harsh but I didn't care.

"...Yes."

I just furrowed my eyebrows at her and I think she could read from my facial expression I didn't want her here.

"May I come in?" Camila asked me.

Part of me wanted to say yes but the other part of me said no.

"No. If you have something to say, say it now. I need to keep packing."

"Oh...right, you're moving." She reminded herself.

I leaned against the doorframe waiting for her to speak.

"I was capable of standing up for myself, and I didn't need your help. I can take care of myself, Jack-"

"Don't come to my own house to yell at me for protecting you." I cut her short.

"I didn't need protection. You're not my bodyguard and you embarrassed me-"

"Just go home, Camila. This is pointless." I clenched my jaw, and folded my arms.

"You can't just swoop in and save me every time you see me not happy. It's not how it works anymore-" she continued.

"Just stop, Camila." I cut her off. "All of this, just...stop. It's pointless. Don't come to my house to yell at me because I didn't want you to get hurt-"
