Harry’s POV
“You made it, come on!” I entered to be pulled by a fussed but now relieved Jess. I let her pull me to the usual place where we plan the wedding.
So far, we’ve been doing well and plans are almost taking place. I can't believe this is still happening and I will not stop saying that because I still haven't gotten over it. Phew. Just a few weeks more till I’ll be wed to the most beautiful girl in the world. To think at a young age I’ve already accomplished these kinds of things. I’m alright as long as I’m with Claire.
I arrive at the massive room and there I saw quite a few people discussing over something I highly think is about the wedding. It was weird that Claire was nowhere to be found. She told me she’d be here. “Your highness, the princess?” I approached the queen and she gave me a stunning smile. “Oh, she’s getting fitted for her white dress. You should get fitted for yours too,” She informs me as she makes her way to the organizers or something. “Alright, I’ll get fitted for my wedding dress.” I say loudly to be heard by the queen who turns to my direction giving me a light chuckle. To think the person who once hated me was laughing along to my jokes.
Soon, I was covered in designers with measuring tapes and pens and paper with them, taking in my body measurements. “You are one dashing man.” One of them said with a nice, wide smile spread across her face. It wasn't a surprise that people normally tell that to me, I get complimnets almost every day and I love every single one of them. “Thank you,” I mutter as she turns back at me. “He’s charming, I know.” I hear a feminine voice from afar and I trace that voice from behind me. I turn around to face Claire, a cheeky smile on her beautiful face, revealing her faint dimples opposite from mine, but it was evident enough for me to see on her cheek. The tailors quickly let go of me as they knew what was going next even though they're not finished yet and I came walking towards Claire.
“I’ve missed you.” She whispered softly as her face was buried in my chest. I chuckle lightly as she pulls back a little to look at me.
“I saw what you did out there.” She said softly as she smiled once more and her eyes sparkled brown. “Actually everyone did.” Jess said loud and clear for me to hear and ended laughing as she helped the queen with preparations. “You watched?” I lifted my eyebrows as a bold smile stretched across my face. “Why wouldn’t we watch? It was about us!” She exclaimed as she took me in for another bear hug. I pull back a few seconds later to take her features for today. Her hair was pushed to the side as she was wearing comfortable clothes her grandmother allowed her to wear. She was wearing a simple shirt along with shorts and she was wearing an oddly familiar pair of shoes.
“You wore them,” I smirked a small one as I pointed to her feet as she moved them around. “Yeah, I’ve missed them too. They are exeptionally comfortable I might say.” She stood on her tiptoes to steal a small, soft kiss on the lips and she smiled as she pulled back. “I should grow a few more inches to kiss you properly.” Her cheeks were burning red with embarrassment as she avoided eye contact with me. “Hey, you don’t have to, I love your height. It’s perfect.” I said to her, but she doesn't seem convinced yet. "But look at you! You're really tall! And-" Before she could finish, I bend down, holding her back careful not to slip as her head dips down I kiss her passionately.
“I’d LOVE to see that kiss again on the wedding!” I hear the queen laugh as she said those words I cannot believe she just said that. Everyone had heard it and shared a tremendous fit of laughter.
---
“Can we go outside for a little fresh air, grandma?” She holds me by the waist as I did the same to her while asking permission. “Don’t go out of the premises alright?” She reminds us and we both nod in agreement as we step out of the room and into the hallway to the back garden. We were good children now and we follow queen's orders.
