A/N: The boots over there ----------------------------> are what Ashlyn changes into.

Ashlyn, being the only one in a skirt, was the last one to get on the train. Four had helped pull her on, and she all but fell on him and Uriah. It was easier in jeans. She thinks, pulling off her ballet flats and trading them for black boots. She finishes double-knotting the laces and looks up, not at all surprised when she sees Zeke and Uriah.

“Hey. Thought you’d be talking to your girlfriends.” She says, shoving her flats into her bag.

“Shauna’s talking to Marlene and her sister.” Zeke says. “Thought I’d give her some more girl time.”

“And what about you and Marlene?” she directs this at Uriah, who shrugs and looks at the floor. “Let me guess- you two got into a fight before she died.”

Both of them look at her in amazement. “How did you-”

“Guess?” she rolls her eyes. “Please, you couldn’t cut the tension between you two with a chainsaw. And I’m pretty good at reading people, I guess.”

“Wow.” Is all Zeke says.

“And, Marlene told me.” She smiles sheepishly.

“Leave it to her to tell the twelve-year-old.” Uriah shakes his head.

“Thirteen!” Four calls across the traincar, correcting him before Ashlyn can. Everyone bursts into laughter.

“Yeah, Uriah, get it right.” Ashlyn sticks her tongue out at him.

“Nah, I’m good.” He replies, smirking.

Zeke smacks him upside the head before rolling his eyes. “Ladies, there’s enough room in this city for both of you. No need to get your panties in a twist.” The three of them start laughing.

When they calm down, Ashlyn looks at Uriah. She leans in closer, to keep her voice down. “You need to go talk to her.”

“What? No way. She probably hates me.”

Ashlyn rolls her eyes. “You’re an idiot. She thinks that you hate her. Apparently, she’s completely regretted whatever you two fought about since it happened.”

“But I do love her.”

“And she loves you.”

“Oh really?” Uriah doesn’t believe her.

“Listen, either you go over there and talk to her, or I’ll tell her myself. Either that or I’ll drag her over here and force you talk to her. Got it?”

This girl is stubborn. Uriah thinks. No wonder Tris likes her so much. He sighs and starts to stand up, then notices Tris standing in the doorway of the traincar, looking outside. She turns back to face everyone.

“Guys! Time to jump!” And without another word, she hops out of the train.

A/N: If you wanna know what happened between Marlene and Uriah, look in my Divergent Oneshots thing and look for the last one. I think it's called 'Our Great Divide'.
