A/N: This skips forward a few months.

Four hasn't talked to Tris in about five months. He's thought about her, dreamed about her, but he hasn't mentioned her or talked to her. There are times where he'll go into his phone and type in a text message to her, but then he just shakes his head and deletes it. There is no point in trying to contact someone that doesn't care about you anymore.

Then, on October 16th, he gets a surprise.

First Lynn, Shauna, Lauren, and Christina show up at the Leason's house- he's thankful that his parents moved out a while ago. Then Will and Cara and showed up, and then Zeke and Uriah, followed by Marlene. They all crowd into the playroom- everyone's amazed that they fit.

Caleb shows up at the door. Four is surprised by how everyone greets Caleb, handshakes and hugs instead of hostile looks like he'd been expecting. Then he remembers that they'd all been talking, and he forces down the taste of bile in his mouth.

"So what are you guys doing here?" He asks, sititng on the couch. Everyone grins at each other.

"Oh, ya know. Friendly reunion." Lauren punches him in the arm, and he laughs at her.

"Where's Ashlyn?" Lynn asks.

Four shakes his head. "She said something about getting something. I don't know."

Zeke rolls his eyes. "You never listen to people."

"Do so."

"Do not."

"Do s-" Four is cut off by the door opening.

Ashlyn smiles. "Um, sorry to interrupt your five-year-old argument, but there's someone else here." Four's the only one that's confused. Ashlyn rolls her eyes at someone on the steps and motions for them to come up. When he sees who it is, his breath gets stuck in his throat.

Tris gives him the tiniest smile possible. She's wearing black leggings, black boots, and a black sweater dress-thing. Her blonde waves are let loose- as usual- and her eyes look the same steel gray color as Ashlyn's. According to Ash, they're only gray when she wears all black or the sky is gray, like how it is today. Leaves blow against the windows.

Marlene hops up and hugs her. "Long time, no see! How are you?" She asks.

"I'm good." Tris smiles. "I heard that everyone was coming here, so I caught a plane to Philadelphia and got a ride here."

Everyone hugs Tris and says hello, and she sits down in the one black and red director's chair across from Four. Ashlyn stays standing. "Okay, so I feel bad for my cousin over there," she gestures to Four, "Because he's been seriously out of the loop lately. So, explanation time- again. Why don't we start with Tris, since she's the first one besides yours truly that knew what's going on."

Everyone looks at Tris, who lets out a sigh. "I guess we never told them the whole story." She sighs again. "Well, it started on Visiting Day. Not during initiation. The more recent one." She takes a deep breath. "When we went to Abnegation, Ashlyn told me some...interesting news."

"And that was?" Marlene prompts.

"That someone was not only trying to split Four and I up, but also that I'm not really from southern California. After Visiting Day, Caleb moved to New York, and I hacked into the computer systems at where these people were hiding me and found out that it's true. Not only that, but my family had been told that I had died from some sickness.

"And then I got the most shocking news- something that I had only shared with Ashlyn." She looks Four straight in the eye. "My aunt was the one behind it. All because she didn't like my choice in friends."

A/N: Cliffhanger!

Sorry it's so short.

And that I skipped ahead.

I needed you guys to find out what was going on, though :)
