The Devil's Rebirth (On Hold)

Chapter 2

Hi! :D so this is the second chapter. The beginning might be a little boring but it gets interesting.

I was living a good life. I had a little sister Amy, who is 8. An older brother named Jake, who is 17. I had a mom and a dad. My mom's name was Ariel. My dad's name was Stefan. Everything was going great.

I was walking to class when I heard some one call my name.

"Avril!" My best friend Audriana said with excitement. She had light brown hair and hazel eyes. Her hair was tied up to a ponytail. I waved at her. We both began walking to class together.

*Beginning of class*

"Class, we have a new student today. Please welcome Claire Tate," Mr. Riley pointed to a girl with light blond hair and emerald green eyes.

"Hi," She smiled. Her voice was smooth and light. Like an angel's.

"You can sit next to Avril. Avril raise your hand so she knows who you are," Mr. Riley ordered. I raised my hand obediently and Claire sat next to me. Class passed by quickly. Audriana had got out of the classroom before I did. I practically ran looking for her. I finally found her waiting for me. 

"So? What is she?" I asked her impatiently.

"She's an angel," Audriana whispered. Audriana was a Tracker. That means she can tell if someone is a human, a devil, or an angel. There are three types of devil's, there are Trackers, Medics, and Warriors. Medics are the ones that can use their powers to heal. Warriors are the ones that fight. Trackers can fight too but warriors have powers consisting of the elements of water, fire, earth, electricity and wind. The same thing goes with angels.

We all look like humans but when we go into battle devils grow wings, horns, and  a tail. While angels grow wings and a halo.We all have our own weapons. All angels have swords. Warrior Devils just have any weapon that they're born with.Tracker devil's had either bows and arrows or swords.

I waited impatiently for school to end. Luckily I didn't have anymore classes with Claire. If I did I probably would have attacked her. The school day finally ended and I ran out of the classroom, looking for Claire. I looked out one of the hallway windows and saw her walking into the gymnasium. Yes. There probably won't be anybody there. I finally made it to the gymnasium. When I opened the door, she was in there alone. She looked at me surprised that I was there. 

"Oh, you're that Avril girl," She said.

"Yeah. And you're that angel girl," I smirked. She looked at me with shock. Humans were not allowed to know about us devils and angels. If a human finds out and the council gets them, then they get taken away to live in the Hell Court for Devils or the Heaven Court for angels. I'm guessing she isn't a Tracker if she looked at me like that.

"H- How did you know? How can a mere human know about this?" She asked through clenched teeth. I gave her a smile that looked sweet but was truly evil.I summoned my weapon, which was a giant scythe. My devil wings, tail, and horns probably appeared because her face finally looked calm.

"So you were a devil," She said in a calm voice. She then summoned her sword and her halo and wings appeared. A fire ball formed in her hand. So she's a warrior and a fire user. She put the fireball on her sword and it instantly lit up in flames. The fire was covering her sword. But she was too busy with her fireball so I was the first one to attack. 

I kicked my feet back and flew straight toward her. I slashed my scythe at her. She saw me coming and moved back. But not before I left a cut on her leg. She glared at me.
