The winds whipped at my face as I loaded the horses into three vehicles waiting. Storm-Brooke and Sesame were pacing nervously.

Cameron held Sky-Ghost still but every time he tried to take Sky-Ghost near the trailer he bucked and pulled away.

"Scarlett there is no way of getting him in there," he screamed over the howl of the wind.

"Storm-Brooke hates trailers too. We are riding to the shelter," I called back.

I had just got Sweet Pea, my Friesian, in and I slammed the back shut. I went to the window and said they could hurry up and go. I then ran back to Storm-Brooke and mounted her.

I tied Sesame's rope to the bridle and screamed, "give me Sky-Ghost's lead! And get up here Cam!"

He fast walked over to me and handed me the lead of the poor mustang colt and I quickly tied it to Storm-Brooke's bridle.

Cameron awkwardly pulled himself up behind me and I softly kicked me heels into Storm-Brooke's flank. The horse tossed her head and started moving slowly.

"Let's go Storm-Brooke! There's a tornado behind us! Lets go," I yelled over the screaming wind. Storm-Brooke increased her speed but she still couldn't go that fast, for she had two riders, and a dog and colt tied to her.

The farther we rode the wind got more and more powerful.

"Are we riding into it or something? Scarlett what is going on," a panicked Cameron called to me.

"I have no f**king idea Cam! There's defiantly a tornado behind us and maybe there's one in front of us," I questioned.

I pulled the bridle right and Storm-Brooke turned. Suddenly the landscape before us turned completely black.

"What the--" Cameron was cut off by a growl.

I looked down and saw Sesame snarling at something in the blackness.

"Sesame? What is it girl," I whispered.

A white light began to glow softly till it grew and took over the black completely. I suddenly felt like we were falling.

"F**k,"

Authors Note: sorry for the super short chapter thingy! It was kinda like a cliff hanger/intro thing, sorta?!? Ya well any how thanks for reading so far!
