"How far away is this Jacksonville," Cameron asked.

"We first need to go to Mudge Isle. It's one of the many smaller islands that make up the Northern part of Balinor," I replied.

"Oh. Ok," he said.

I reached into the saddle bag where I had put the stuff from Annabella's house. I felt around and found her diary. I pulled it out and began to read it.

'Hello Scarlett Rose. If this isn't Scarlett Rose Hayzen then don't read it. But anyways Scarlett, this diary is very VERY important to your life so please read on.'

I sighed and turned the page. More ways for me to die were probably in here. Lovely.

'If you want to get the crown back on your head and beat Ari and Rick Baylock you MUST find your soul mate, your soul unicorn, your soul pet, and your soul friend. I bet you found all of them except your soul friend. Knowing you, you probably didn't even know about a soul friend. Sorry for the wake up call but usually its a guy too.'

"What cha reading," Cameron asked.

"Annabella's diary. Why," I growled. I wasn't very happy about this whole 'soul friend'.

"I take it that means no good news," he smiled. "Cheer up anyways!"

Cameron read my emotions like a kids book. It was shocking. No one ever could read me. And every time I tried to read his mind, I couldn't for some reason. I could read it just a little bit sometimes but not always and it pissed me off.

I slammed the diary cover shut. And looked up at Cameron.

"Cameron," I sighed. "There's something you should probably know about the upper Isle of Balinor."

"Ok. Whats that," he questioned.

"You witnessed my aunt become a wolf, right," I asked and he nodded. "Well each Isle is home to a clan or pack of what you might call 'werewolves'. So please be carefully and do NOT anger them!"

"Well if you don't call them werewolves what do you call them," he asked, ignoring my plead.

"Half-wolves. Lame I know. But that's what we call em," I said.

I then reopened Annabella's diary and continued reading.

'I know who you soul friend is and I don't plan on telling you. When you were younger you always called it adventurous. You always said life's not fun until its adventurous. I doubt you remember but I do. But anyways I will give you three, only 3 hints.

1. Your soul friend is a male

2. He is related to you

3. You will know he is your soul friend as soon as you meet him'

"Scarlett! Why are you crying again," Cameron exclaimed pulling Sky-Ghost closer to Storm-Brooke.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and kissed my cheek. He then whipped the tears away.

"Memories Cameron. So many memories," I muttered.

"Oh sunshine. Cheer up! Those should be happy tears cuz you are remembering! But they are sad tears and you are breaking my heart every time you cry," Cameron stated.

I shook my head and pulled out of his grip. I then started Storm-Brooke to a faster pace. I didn't want to talk or even see anyone right now. I needed to be alone.Cameron tried to catch up to me but I put a slowing spell on him.

By midnight we reached the first Isle. We crossed the bridge and were met by three snarling half-wolves.

"No need to freak out guys. I need to get to Mudge Isle. And I need to get there fast," I said sighing.

One of the half-wolves shifted back to human form and nodded.

"I hope you know that Alpha Bolt will not be very happy that you want to see him and his clan. But that's your problem. We will escort you to the bridge," the female said and then she shifted back and started running.

Storm-Brooke raced after them and I put a spell on Sky-Ghost so he wouldn't be exhausted as easily. We dodged trees and raced after the wolves that were faster only because they were better at the terrain.

Soon enough the wolves slowed and then stopped. They were panting and our unicorns were breathing heavily and sweating.

"The bridge is right past the last line of trees. You will meet another three to four wolves on the other side of the bridge. They will take you to another bridge that when you cross you will be on Mudge Isle. Good bye," the same female said that then shifted and raced back into the trees.

"Thank you," I screamed in the direction they had left.

There was a howl that lasted for thirty seconds and then ended. We then pulled through the last line of trees and saw the stars glistening off the water. There was a large wooden bridge to the right of us. I dismounted and grabbed the bridle of Storm-Brooke.

I walked half way across the bridge before stopping. I then reached into the saddle bag and pulled out two towels.

"Here Cameron. And I'm sorry for what happened earlier. I was just a little freaked out about what I read. Look the only way to get the crown back on my head, I need to find the Dream Ghost. The Dream Ghost is a ghost that can grant you one answer if you have four things. Those four things are a soul mate, a soul unicorn, a soul pet and a soul friend. All I need is the soul friend. And Annabella said who it was. And he is Toby Hayzen, my cousin that we are going to right now," I said wiping Storm-Brooke down.

"Oh. And why were you crying then," Cameron asked as he too wiped Sky-Ghost's sweat off.

"Cameron. Toby is very very very dangerous. He is also pretty protective of me too. And if he doesn't like you," my voice just trailed off. "Cameron I can't lose you."

I started blinking back tears but one tear escaped. He moved forward and hug me tightly.

"Shh Scarlett. Hush. It's ok," Cameron said trying to smile.

At that moment I knew something was bugging him.

"What's wrong with you," I asked softly.

"Scarlett you said something about a soul mate. I wanted to know who it was," his voice was full of hope.

"You," I whispered.

Ello my good readers! I know these chapters have been purdy short but I love leaving cliffhangers! But anyways.. I'm working my butt off to get these chapters out so yes please be thankful! >~< but anyways I will soon have to start XC (cross country) practice so I'm trying to get a lot done before then!
