Her anger seemed to radiate off her. The queen was larger then Windy but still, Windy was the size of my hand.
"What do you want," I spat, still angered from talking about Ari.
"Windy. And she needs to come now," the queen spoke calmly.
"Well to bad. I'm taking her with me. The rest of the way on my journey. And there will not be any arguing," I snapped.
"What," Tulip screamed, clearly angry.
"I'm going with her. And you will let me," Windy said fiercely.
"Why Windy Willows? Why not some other, more trustable pixie," Tulip seemed terribly confused.
"Because. She needs her town, her people to trust her. If I bring her back alive she will be honored for her bravery, will she not," I asked.
"By pixie law yes. But you do not know what she--," Tulip began but I cut her off.
"Good. And I do not need to know what she did. She'd be dead now if she had done something so terrible but apparently she didn't deserve the death penalty so therefore I can take her with me," I said, being to leave.
"Fine. Take her with you but brainwash me of your name. I know who you are so please brainwash me so you're safe," the queen whispered.
And I did. I did the spell and didn't speak to her afterwards. I had taken a shower before I had come to the roof and I saw that all the boys had done the same. Everyone looked up as I entered the room. A smile played on Cameron's lips before racing to me and hugging me.
"Careful Cameron! I have a pixie with me," I exclaimed trying to pull myself out of his grip.
"What," he shirked, jumping back. "I'm sorry little pixie, please don't kill me!"
"Humans like him amuse me so," Windy said as I let her go. "I'm fine by the way, Cameron."
"You told her my name," Cameron was surprised.
"Nope. You spoke," I gave him a smile. "And this here is Windy Willows."
"If you speak a pixie's full name she will always know where you are," Dan said leaping at the pixie. "When I catch her, brainwash her from the event!"
She merely laughed and flew out of his reach. I giggled slightly as Dan tried to catch her, but failed.
"Dan stop. It's ok cuz she's coming with us," I watched Dan's expression turn from whatever it was currently to disbelief. "Oh and there's no way you can say no to it because its final."
I then turned and walked out the room, motioning them to follow. We saddled up and I attached the small seat for Windy to the top of Storm-Brooke's head using a bobby-pin on her mane.
"Well are you guys ready," Dan asked, pulling his anima-gladio out.
"Yep! Lets go," I said. "I'll race you guys out of this town!"
In the end Dan and his horse, Fatum, won by a few seconds. Storm-Brooke took second, Fate took last and Sky-Ghost took third. We slowed down to a trot to continue on. It was easier travel for the unicorns since we were headed down the mountain.
"Ok Cameron! Quit staring at me like I grew horns and five arms," Windy rolled her tiny eyes.
"Sorry. I've never met or seen a pixie before," Cameron answered quietly.
"That's because you're a mortal. And how they let you in Balinor is a mystery to me," Windy yawned. "Now if you'll let me, I'm going to take a nap."
"Hey Scarlett," Toby asked.
"What," I muttered, I was deep in thought about what Windy had said.
"Can I go hunt," he asked innocently.
"Yeah sure. Just be careful," and as soon as I said that he leaped off of Fate and shifted.
Toby barked happily and then raced off into the woods. As soon as he disappeared into the woods we heard three sharp barks and a howl to answer. I watched Sesame stiffen up and then growl slightly. Suddenly Toby slammed out of the trees, a wolf on his tail.
Toby shifted quickly and leaped on Fate. The wolf that chased Toby stopped and snarled. Sesame lunged at him and pinned him to the ground.
"Get Sesame off of him! He's a half-wolf," Toby yowled.
"Sesame. Here. Now," I said calmly.
Sesame snapped e tip of his ear off and then walked to me.
"Easy girl. Easy," I heard Dan whisper to his unicorn.
"Who do you think you are! First you send out a half-wolf to lure us here and then attack me," the half-wolf that Sesame had tackled had shifted. "I am the alpha of this pack! Why would you attack me?"
"Alpha. Please forgive us. My dog is very protective and she saw you chasing Toby," I pointed to Toby when I said his name. "Toby merely wanted to hunt and he must not have scented your territory markers."
"Half-wolf that claims to be the alpha. This is no ones territory because you can not leave your marks on this grass. So therefore you just illegally chased on of my friends. So my advice is to leave now," Windy had flown out of her little seat and was now right in front of the alpha.
"Pixie. You are partly right but the woods where your friend ran into was our territory," he growled.
"Toby did you scent any markers at the edge of the woods," Windy asked.
"No I didn't. I scented some wolf sent but it was stale," Toby answered.
"If its your territory, alpha I suggest next time you mark it," she then turned and flew back to her seat. "Lets go."
"Not so fast," there was a growl from behind him.
"Why not so fast," Windy asked, clearly quite annoyed.
"Because. Your little wolf friend wasn't hunting prey, he was hunting us," a female who I assumed was the alpha's mate stepped into view.
"What," I asked, trying to stay calm.
"He's part of a pack that is our rival. The marks are very clear that even a pixie like yourself could smell it," she growled.
"Toby? How bout the truth," Dan asked calmly.
"Shut up pretty boy. If he speaks I will kill all of you," she snapped.
"Well you are right about being pretty I mean I find myself pretty damn fabulous," Dan exclaimed but drew out his anima-gladio. "But all kidding aside I suggest you let us pass. That is unless you want Ari to remain queen forever."
"What do you mean by that boy! You can't kill her and you're going the wrong way," she yowled.
"I am the long lost princess. And stop insulting my friends," I leaped off Storm-Brooke and let Windy sit on my shoulder. "I take you probably want some sort of explanation."
