We raced into the small town, weaving people. Half way through the town people started screaming. They rushed into their homes, shutting down their shops. I wondered why for only a second.

"DRAGON," someone screamed.

My head snapped upward and saw that dragon right above us. Sesame let out a long howl, her pixie collar glowed. Like the chain at held the Hayzen family ring, Sesame's collar was invisible to everyone. But a warlock had put many different spells on it to help Sesame. One of those spells was not being able to be cursed. Most of the spells I couldn't even remember.

But when she howled, the dragon flew straight down at us. We pulled our unicorns to a stop to avoid the dragon. He was huge, his body with tail went all the way down the street and out into the corn field at the end of the street. His tail was a third of his massive body.

The dragon was a beautiful pearl, with dark brown spots. He had two massive black horns on his head. His eyes glowed a cruel red-ish/purple. The dragon's wings were a dark pearl color about twice his body size.

Sesame interrupted my thoughts when she howled again. The dragon shook its massive head and roared.

"You," he lifted a huge paw and pointed his claw at me.

"Yes. What about me," I spoke bravely.

"You are the real queen, Scarlett," his voice had question in it.

"Yes. And I would love to talk more but the current queen is right behind us," I nodded behind me where Ari sat on her golden unicorn.

"You," he turned his attention to Ari. "You need to die a horrid death but in time you will Arianna."

"Oh yeah? How do you know," she snapped.

"Because I am the fortune dragon. I speak only the truth of the future," his eyes narrowed. "I would love to kill you now but I fear I cannot. That will happen in good time. But you have treated the dragon community with no respect. You should have never been born. You were never born to rule but fate has played a cruel trick on us all."

"Kill him. Then capture that little brat over there," Ari turned and began to ride away but I whipped out my bow and shot an arrow right into the sagging part of her shirt.

"Where you going huh? To scared to fight me," I raised my bow. "I'm not to afraid to kill you."

Suddenly we were surrounded by Shadowers and some royal guards. She grinned wickedly at me.

"I'm not afraid of you but I think the Shadowers will have a little bit more fun tearing you apart," she laughed evilly. "Oh and Rick is wonderful, I'll have you know."

"Fuck you," I growled before drawing my anima-gladio.

"Don't bother Queen Scarlett," the dragon spoke with kindness. "It is my turn to face death."

He then threw himself at the Shadowers. They all disappeared with the dragon in seconds.

"See Scarlett? Everyone who loves you dies," Ari's face held a cruel smirk.

"At least some people love me," I snapped back before racing Storm-Brooke straight to her.

She snapped her fingers and was beside me. She laughed haplessly. Ari snapped her fingers again and had Cameron, lying limp in her arms.

"I'll take him for good luck, deary," she ginned wickedly. "Sucks not being able to do anything while you watch your true love being taking away doesn't it?"
