Chapter Twenty

We returned from our eventful walk with Sesame dragging the now broken Mikey and I was carrying John, who had fainted when he saw that Mikey was a real robot.

"Scarlett," Alpha Katie gave me a questioning look.

"Mikey," I motioned to where Sesame had dropped him. "Was a robot working for and created by the one and only Arianna. This boy I'm holding currently is shocked beyond belief. And you Alpha Hayden better have a damn good excuse for sheltering a robot because trust me, even I could tell when I first glanced at him."

"I'm sorry Scarlett but we had no clue. He first came to us five days ago. Maybe he was running out of battery power so he became obvious to you," Alpha Hayden was clearly shocked. "I haven't seen the boy all day, I was with you and your friends."

I rolled my eyes before reaching into his thoughts. They were jumbled and confusing but I got to through them fairly quick. Alpha Katie was having a baby, his packs health and the real queen was here were the major thoughts that he had. There was nothing about Ari other then hate, wishing her dead and other nasty thoughts.

"Well first off congrats on the baby. Second off I would like to say you've run this pack well and I'm proud to have an awesome pack leader for one of my few half-wolf packs," I smiled, silently thanking him for not being Ari's friend. "As for not knowing you speak the truth and I'm sorry that you were tricked. Be more careful next time."

"Thank you Scarlett," the alpha nodded to me.

"Alpha Hayden and Alpha Katie. Thank you very much for your medicine to help my friend and your hospitality. As for the rest of the pack," I turned to face them. "Let the kingdom lead on!"

I then turned and lead the others to the stable where we mounted our unicorns and rode off.

"Scarlett," Cameron yawned. "Can we please stop?"

It had been a week since we left the pack that was lead by Alpha Katie and Alpha Hayden. We had made it to the bottom of the mountain but had about another weeks journey to my adoptive uncle. We'd gotten little to no sleep at all the past week and we were all tired messes.

"There's a hotel about a day from here," Windy said sleepily.

"Wonderful," I muttered.

The unicorns were literally dripping energy spells to keep them awake. Casting the spells had made me weaker but I was doing better after about 8 hours of sleep. Dan and Toby were supposed to be sleeping right now so I had to keep awake.

I had tried counting sheep and even counting the hairs of my unicorns mane but nothing seemed to keep me amused. I took time to observe Cameron, Dan, and Toby everyday too. Each had different features that were unique for them.

Cameron had dark brown hair, so dark it was almost black. It was straight rather then curled and it reached the top of his ear. His eyes were a light blue that was almost icy. Yet his eyes looked icy they were filled with warmth and love. He sat upon Sky-Ghost with a perfectly straight back.

Toby had dirty blond hair that curled at the ends. His hair went to about the middle of his ear before the last inch of it curled up. Toby's evergreen eyes seemed to glow every time he was happy or passionate about something. He sat back father on his horse, Fate, and leaned forward to hug Fate's neck.

Dan was the tallest and most muscular of the other two boys. His hair was a dull brown that was cut so short that it didn't even reach his ear. Dan's eyes were a bright brown-ish/hazel color. He had a broad shoulders and long legs. Dan sat upon Fatum bareback, his body closer to his horses neck then any saddle would allow.

As for myself, my red hair wasn't all that red. It's color was a dark red that looked black if it wasn't in sunlight. My hair hung down to my shoulders, slightly wavy. I had side-bangs that were long enough that they blended into my other hair. My eyes were a purple-ish/gray color, like all royals. I sat on Storm-Brooke with authority and confidence.

"Scarlett. Are you ever going to answer me," Dan's voice drifted into my thoughts and I snapped back to reality.

"Sorry Dan," I smiled weakly at him. "What'd you ask?"

"Back there was a sign that said the nearest town was 17 miles," he motioned behind us. "I was wondering if you wanted to stop."

"You are asking ME if I want to stop," I asked. "Since when did YOU start asking me what I wanted?!"

"Since I realized YOU were the queen," Dan said, mocking me.

"Fine. We will stop," I announced.

Everyone looked happy with my decision. Suddenly I realized something. I was going to be the queen. I was going to have to give orders. I would have to tell people who to kill and who to not kill. I was going to have to be strong for all of Balinor. I was going to be queen.

ANOTHER SUPA SHORT CHAPTA!!!! Sorry about it being so short.. But I hoped you guys liked the description of all of the people! I think next chapter I'll describe the unicorns and Windy Willows. And of course if you liked the chapter please vote and comment! Thank you all!
