M-Mom?

I felt a cramp in my neck.

I groaned as I tried to get up. I rubbed the back of my neck, as I slowly opened my drooping eyes. I thought it was my sleepy eyes fooling me, but when I tried to adjust my eyes I just saw white. It was like being on a piece of paper, and the paper's dimensions were 3D. I slowly got up, and I looked around more for some sort of answer to where I was.

Just then, everything around me started fading into this..... forest. The forest couldn't have been from Earth, it was too mystical looking. It didn't look real. The flowers, the trees, they were all colors of green, pink, orange, and even a light blue! But..... was I having a vision? The only places that looked this lively were the parts of the forest that wasn't touched by the Darkness.

Just then, I heard rustling in the bushes I near. I got behind a tree and looked at the slightly untouched area of grass. In the center was a girl. Her eyes were closed, and she was dancing around with excitement. She looked, and oddly felt, so familiar. I studied my surroundings a bit better, and I saw Lilac and Val watching the girl. Wait..... why were they here?

I then saw a woman, in a loose yellow and light green dress, put a wolf pup next to the girl. It whimpered as the woman put it down. W-w-wait! That woman. I then remembered why this place was so familiar.

The time Mom first showed me the Spirit World.

"You can open your eyes, Dear," she said.

When the younger version of me opened her sealed eyes, she squealed and jumped up and down, over and over again, and she picked up the puppy. The soft, silver, fur covered pup sniffed at little Reese and wagged her tail.

"What the gender?" I asked, all gitty and jittery.

"A girl!" my mom exclaimed.

"I'm gonna name you Alex!"

The puppy barked, softly as little Reese hugged her.

Alex.

I just now remembered her. I promised I wouldn't ever forget her, and here I am, somewhere with Lilac and Val watching the entire thing, breaking my promise. I guess I broke it for a certain amount of time. Seeing how I just remembered her. Or would that mean- you know what, just forget about it Reese.

Just then, Val and Lilac faded away. I was left alone to watch what happened next with little Reese. Little me looked at our mom, her eyes were like crystals shining in the sunlight. The eyes I used to have before they were dulled out by my father's shadow.

"Mom," Little me asked, "Why did you get me this wittle puppy in the first pwace?"

I still couldn't say words correctly. How cute!

"I got you this puppy because she will help you in the future. As long as you make some memories with her, she'll help you in the most hardest times in your life."

Little me squeezed Alex and let out a little giggle before everything faded into the white..... area. Just before I could move my head, I saw Lilac and Val fade away into the white. I reached my arm to them, but they were already gone. I decided to look around the blank area, and after I took my first step a woman in a white dress was before me.

Mom?!

As she turned around, her eyes filled with tears. She kneeled down and opened her arms. I was already running to her, and when I hugged her she felt so real so......

Alive.

I then pulled back from the warm embrace, and I started crying.

"You're probably something from my imagination...... aren't you," I said, saddened.

Mom- or at least the figure that looked like her- wiped my tears from my eyes. Her hands were warm, and her touch was the same from when I last saw her.

"Reese, my baby girl," she said, tearing up herself, "When I died, on Earth, I was transported back here as a vision angel. Vision angels show hints and clue to what someone must do next to help them in their journey. Because of the Spirit of Pixie Dust made a mistake, it greatly impacted your life. I've given the Spirit of Nature, Valery, and Lilac a vision to help them wake you up."

I looked at my mom. She looked just like when she died.

"Are you..... is it possible that you could be a plant here?" I asked, "I mean..... Jessica turned into one, when she died."

"W-wait, what?" Mom said, distraught, "J-J-Jessica? The Spirit of Pixie life died?"

"Y-yes...." I trailed off, "While the Darkness was taking over, Autumn and Jess were in the center of a burning forest. As Jessica saved Autumn's life, her own was........ taken...... And after she was buried, she turned into a huge oak tree with willow tree leaves."

Mom's eyes filled with tears once more.

"I'm glad that she is in a better state. Are you able to still speak to her?"

I nodded.

"You said Val was the Spirit of Nature. Does that mean I am also the Spirit of Nature, since she and I are the only ones that can speak to Jess without anyone touching our hands?"

My mother shook her head.

"You have a power of many Spirits. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

Just as she said those words, a bright light appeared behind her. Mom hugged me one last time, before everything around me blinded me.

Mom...... What is happening to all of us?

K.C.T: Okay, a bit of a reasoning to why I haven't been uploading chapters. First off, school. Being older and having more HW, means that I gotta do that HW before writing these books. I know, school sucks because of that, but what can I do? Second off, Halloween was today. Today was Halloween, and I was busy setting up decorations, passing out candy, and going trick or treating. Third, sister's B-day. So, my sister's B-day is like, REALLY soon. I had to go and buy her a present, which took a while. Finally, Traveling. I went to a few cities to visit family, so that also adds on that I couldn't write. Anyways, thanks for reading this K.C.T and I promise that I'll go back to writing ASAP. Look at my profile "Side Notes" thing for more info. <3
