Valery

"Reese," Was all that could come out of my mouth.

"The meadow," Autumn said, "Faux."

"Wait, Faux?!" Rose said, "What about him?"

"We should probably say what happened, in each of our misfortunes," Alex said, "I guess I could start."

Most of Alex's fortune, I had already seen, and so had Aspen. Her vision, however, was cut short, after Aspen went in front of some sort of attack. He then went next, and he said that Reese was going to be fine, but he didn't know too much of himself.

"What happened, back in the meadow?" Rose asked Autumn, "In my vision, future me said that Faux was dead."

"Rose," Autumn replied, "My astrobody was also shocked to see him. He gave me vague details on what happened to him, but he couldn't explain anymore."

"Why's that?" Lilac asked.

"The Darkness... it was going to devour the meadow."

"W-w-what?!" We all gasped.

"So, you're going to die, too?!" Lilac cried, "No. I won't let that happen!"

"We should let Rose say what she saw," I said, trying to get the bad things out of the way.

Rose had asked to be left behind, because she saw something really weird. There was an angel statue that held this strange jewel. It was some weird thing called a life stone. Autumn and Lilac's eyes widened.

"You saw your Life Stone, in that horrid palace?" Autumn said, "But why then?"

"I have something," I interrupted, "You know how you said that the meadow was going to be devoured, by the Darkness? Well, maybe Rose got her Life Stone, so she could save the meadow!"

"That's could be a possibility," Aspen said, "But, is Rose's power that strong, to save an entire meadow?"

"I am the Spirit of Pixie Life," She added, "Isn't my power suppose to be strong?"

"It's not only about being strong," Alex reminded, "You need to be a good person at heart. If you did bad things, to others, you lose your powers. It's all about what kind of person you are."

Rose bit her lip and nodded. Her eyes then started to form tears. I could tell she was trying so hard to hold back tears.

"Rose?" I asked, "You okay?"

Rose wiped away her tears, that were flowing out.

"Faux," she said, "I'm thinking about him."

"Who is Faux, if you don't mind me asking?" Alex said.

"Faux is one of Rose's close friends," Autumn replied, "He is quite the family friend."

I felt my hand slowly go towards the dome Reese was in. I memorized ever swerve and smooth edge, to the masterpiece. I closed my eyes and sighed. I felt someone nudge my shoulder, and when I looked, Alex was giving me eyes of sympathy.

"I know that Reese is a very good friend, to you," she said, "She's also my friend, too. I understand how you feel." I gave Alex a hug, and her soft fur made me relax.

Don't worry, Reese. We'll get you free, I promise.

Aspen

After that melancholic moment, we started getting out of the catacombs. The dead forest was a strange transition, but after seeing what happens to us I'm pretty used to it. Azelea wasn't there, so we had a peaceful walk, back to the caves. The researchers were already there, since they went ahead of us.

"Aspen," Autumn said, "Could you show me where that prophecy is? I'd like to see it, for myself."

I nodded and led Autumn to the ancient markings. She lit her wings, and she examined the engravings. I'm pretty sure she couldn't understand the writing, but who knows. When she got to the faded out part, she sighed.

"I guess we'll never know, how Reese brings you back," she said.

"Who said that it was Reese, that had to bring me back?" I said.

"It says that the admirer will be brought back, by some sort of power. I'm pretty sure it's a power, from her."

I felt my face heat up, and sighed. I still don't understand how Reese, or whoever it is, could bring me back to life. I mean, I guess Reese's power could be strong enough, to bring me back, but it seems highly unlikely.

"Whatever it is," I said, "At least there's a hope that I can come back."

"Aspen," I heard.

I looked and saw that Alex was calling me over. Autumn and I both came over, wondering what Alex had to say.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Remember the panther, that you spoke about?"

"The panther that Reese spoke to?"

"That's the one. Did you know his name?"

"Blaze said that his name was Malkin. Why?"

Just then, a golden panther came out, from the entrance. His fur was tinted blue, from the bluish lights, and he smiled. As much as he acted like a little kid, one year ago, he seemed so mature now.

"I heard about what happened to Reese," he said, "I'm guessing you've come from quite some distance, if you were to find some golden dust. May I see her?"

Autumn slowly got out Reese's dome, and held it out. It was just the size of a glass marble, but Malkin could still see who it was.

"Her face is cracked," he noted, "I see that her powers are too strong. They overwhelm the red dust so much, they seem to harm her."

"Is there a way to get the red dust?" I asked, "Quicker?"

He nodded.

"In fact, my tribe has brought some, from the flowers, nearby where we used to live."

In that moment, I'm pretty sure Autumn and I were at our most surprised moment.
