Reese

The aftermath of the battle was terrifying.

Most of the wolves were wounded, some were taken, but thankfully no one got killed The wounds that were most fatal were just of a broken leg or two. Alex feared for Parker since his was by far the worse injury. Faux and Autumn kept on telling her that he was going to be okay with the pixie dust, but she still paced around the cave thinking for her little brother's sake.

Everyone placed the wolves near the flowers of the meadow while the dust pixies started making the pixie dust. I looked over to Lilac, whom was speaking to Valery. She had this look of determination in her eyes, and that made her look like some sort of powerful being. It was almost as if you could tell the future in her sight.

I looked around for Aspen, but he was no where to be found. My hair blew in the wind as my vision kept flickering back and forth between my mom and reality. Whispers of her voice kept on cutting in and out, but the words I did understand made me realize where we need to go to next.

Reese..... Witch's home..... near core of Darkness...... defeat Guardian..... Grody...... my baby girl...... save brothers.

What did she mean by save my brothers? I mean, they were all the way back on Earth, and we were in the Spirit World. Unless-

"What's happening to the sky?!" A pixie screamed. I looked and saw the blue sky tearing like a piece of fabric. Loud booms were heard throughout the area as the torn sky rippled in a wavy manner. What shocked me more than anything was the fact that Earth was just underneath.

And these odd creatures were snatching humans from the ground.

Screams, cries, and shouts of agony and pain rang through. People that I knew from school were being picked up by these giant, mutant crow looking animals. One of which was Ethan, too. It was a war between worlds! I looked around, and Valery was shaking with fear.

"What in the world is going on?!" she shouted. "Why is this happening? WHO'S CONTROLLING THIS?!"

"Grody," I blurted. "The leader of the Guardians." Everyone's gaze went to me. I looked into the sky of raging battle cries and balled my hands into fists. "A witch's home near the center of the Darkness is where they're headed to."

"How do you know this?" Alex asked. "It's not like you can see the future!"

"But my mother can!" I said turning to her. "And if she can see the future and guide us, then it's our last hope for the Spirit World and Earth."

"Reese," Aspen said coming from the forest. "Don't you get it? The only safe place in the Darkness is back where I was able to communicate with you. Even if we get there, our powers could be drained. By now, the Darkness is far too powerful!"

I kept getting flickers of my mom and her whispers again.

Seek out..... without doubt...... where to...... if only I knew.....

"Seek out, without a doubt. Where to? If only I knew," I copied. Just then, a huge aura surrounded us all. It felt weightless with light and power. I looked to everyone, and their expressions all went shocked. "Where to? I know."

Lilac.... teleportation dust....... white...... brown......

"Lilac?"

"Y-y-yes?" she stammered while flying towards me.

"Have you ever made teleportation dust?"

"Yes. I have a bunch."

"Have it with you?"

"Yes." Lilac took this light brown dust out of her bag.

Teleport..... home of Azelea..... Spirit of Chaos.....

"Everyone.... huddle around." All the Mystics of the Light came closer to Lilac and me. I looked one last time to the meadow. I saw Faux and Alex's friend Daring in the forest. "Teleport to the home of Azelea: the Spirit of Chaos."

The dust began to rise into the air as it showered over the aura. I glanced one last time to the two boys, but then a shock of an explosion blew up behind them. I gasped, and when Rose and Alex looked back, their eyes widened.

"Faux!" Rose screamed. "No!" She tried running out of the aura, but Autumn put a barrier around her. Alex just stayed still and petrified by what happened. We couldn't do anything there. We were already at this massive castle.....

Where Grody awaits.

Go.... Faux and Daring...... safe.....

K.C.T: FAUX WHY?! Literally I was like, "Okay, Coora. You can write this. Just breath, and it'll be okay." Anyways, yeah I left you there! CLIFFHANGERS! Wow, now I think I know how it feels to be a mean author, huh? I just love these types of chapters. They just want you to keep reading forward and seeing what happens. Btw, I'm still sick, and I'm sad. I CAN'T DO ANYTHING BUT STAY ON THE COUCH OR BED! Oh well. More writing for me.
