We returned to the club and the first thing I noticed was that all the cars were in the lot. Immediately, my body filled with rage, as I remembered Fiona's harsh words. I knew I'd have to face her, but I didn't want to. I trusted her and here she was, trying to get rid of me.

Danny opened my door, helping me out of the car. When my feet hit the ground, I became frozen. "You alright?" I looked down at the ground, contemplating how I would face this obsticle. It was obviously Fiona didn't know that I knew of her plans, and I didn't intend for her to.

"Daniel, what is it that we have to do today?" His face showed he was concerned of the asking, of my question.

"Well, I was really hoping I could go over those files with you, and maybe talk about the business a little."

Nodding, I looked around, taking note of how warm the sun was shining and how beautiful the day had come to be. "Do we really have to do so, cooped up in a building all day? It's such a beautiful day, why don't we go somewhere?"

Danny looked down at the ground, then, back at me, shaking his head. "Where did you have in mind?" Crossing my arms over my chest, I contemplated a nice, calm setting where we could get everything done.

"You like the beach, right? How about there?" Danny stated at me, his eyebrow raised. It was like the idea to him was preposterous.

"The beach? Are you sure about this Jessa?" Feeling mocked, I turn to him, my face calm. I wanted to make him feel as if it wasn't me he was questioning, but himself.

"I believe the real question is, why not? You're wasting time just standing here." Danny's face scrunched up a little bit and I knew I had him. He opened his mouth to speak, but closed it, thinking twice.

"Okay, why not." Smiling, I headed toward the club. "Where are you going, I thought we were going to the beach?"

Turning to him, I gestured to my attire and to his. "We are, and we're also not wearing these outfits to the beach, so hurry up." A sly smile formed on Danny's face as I turned to walk away, but I felt his eyes glued to the back of me. "No looking." I could hear him laugh, and I glanced back to smile.

Stepping into the building, I already felt the tension in the air. Fiona, Lucas, Phillip and Darla were sitting around in various places of the club. At my presence, they all stared up at me. "What is this, an intervention?"

"We've just been waiting for you and Danny, sensing that you two forgotten your responsibilities." I kept a blank face as Danny walked in, curious to why we were all just loitering around.

"What is this?" He asked and at his presence, Fiona quickly, sold me out.

"What is this?" She asked gesturing to everyone around. "Or what are these?" She threw down a stack of files onto the table. "Seems your "face of the company," here, forgot about all of the files she had to tend to."

I placed one hand on my hip, shifting my weight from one heel, to the other. "Actually, me and Daniel were discussing those before we were sent on a false errand." At my words, Danny quickly looked at me and then to Fiona, who nervously tried to hide up her lie.

Phillip looked down when Danny glanced at him. "What? Jessa, I'm sure it was just a mistake." Fiona nodded like crazy and I stared down Phillip, who refused to look up, as he fiddled with the straw of his drink.

"Y-yeah. It was just a mistake. Phillip is the one that got the call, I must've just mixed up the message." I watched as Fiona looked to her brother for confirmation. When Phillip realized all eyes were on him, he put down the straw and sat up straight.
