(Sky's POV) (still)

"Well. That didn't end well." Jason said, staring wide-eyed at the blank screen.

"So, uh, Sky. How are we gonna find him now?" Ian asked.

I walked over to a small table filled with different types of hand held devices. After doing a little bit of sifting through the stuff, I gave a satisfied grunt, and then threw a walkie-talkie to everyone.

"We'll use these."

Everyone stared blankly at me.

"Ugh. We'll split up, and when you find a clue of some kind, then we'll meet up and go from there, ok?" I said.

Everyone nodded.

"Good. Now come on, we don't have any time to waste."

Everyone walked out of the castle and separated. I headed towards the recruit camp, while Ian went to the towers, Jerome went to the woods, Jason went in the sky, and Mitch stayed inside the castle.

I walked through the rows and rows of tents, looking around the outsides of them for any unusual objects. Many of the women and children staying in the camps asked me if anything was wrong. I assured them everything was fine and I was just taking a stroll, but deep down it hurt to have to lie to the recruits. But, how else was I going to keep them out of the hospital from a nervous breakdown?

~time skip~

I was just finishing up checking the last tent in the recruit site when I got an alert on my Walkie-talkie. I quickly turned to the group channel, where I was met with Jason's voice.

Guys! Guys I think I found something!

My stomach instantly became filled with butterflies.

"Ok Jason, we are on our way. Where are you?"

"I'm outside the wall, right by the training grounds, near the woods." Jason exclaimed.

"Alright. I'm heading over now." I said quickly. I tucked my walkie-talkie in the back pocket of my jeans, and started running towards the training grounds.

I finally made it there, my breaths short and quick from the running.

"What did you find Jason?!" Mitch asked, looking around. Jason pointed at a small pile of leaves laying by the wall.

We all stared a Jason, utterly confused.

"Um...Jason. That's a pile of leaves." Ian said, crouching down beside them.

"Yes, the are leaves. But these leaves aren't from around here." Jason said in a matter-o-factly tone. "Our camp is surrounded by oak trees and birch trees. These aren't oak or birch." He said, picking one up and holding it up to a tree. Sure enough, the leaves didn't match.

"Well, if they aren't oak or birch, then what type of leaf are they?" I asked.

"Based on my knowledge, these are either jungle or dark oak leaves." Jason said, examining the leaf. "I think it's from a jungle."

"But the closest jungle from here is like a 3 week journey! How could they have taken Ty to a jungle?!" Mitch exclaimed.

"Well, that's what I was wondering too. So I pulled out my map, and noticed that from the ocean over there-" Jason said, pointing to the ocean through the trees, "-there are a few routes they can take. We all know that they are excellent swimmers, so they probably moved through the water."

"But what about Ty? They can't go on land, so how is they get him? And he can't breathe underwater!" Jerome exclaimed.

"That I don't know, Jerome. I guess we can just figure it out on the way, right?" Jason sighed.

"Well then team, I guess we know where we're going." I said, pointing my sword on Jason's map. Everyone looked at each other, and then nodded.

"Ok squids, get ready to meet your match, because there is gonna be fire in the water soon."
