(Ty's POV)
I growled at Squillium as he smirked.
"Of course I know him! What's was the point of taking him? Aren't I enough for you to deal with?! Don't you understand what you all will have to go through now that Mitch doesn't have Jerome? He'll kill anything in sight!" I yelled. Squillium didn't even flinch.
"That is a battle we will fight when we have to. Right now, I have some important business with you and your friend." He said simply. I glared at him.
"What do you mean?" I asked cautiously. At that same moment, the two gaurds came in, holding Jerome tightly in each arm, allowing no movement for him to run. He looked calm, but I could tell in his eyes that he was blazing with fury.
"Bring him over, next to Ty please." Squillium said to the two squids. They lead Jerome over next to me, and sat him down. He was sitting on the floor and looked ready to make a dash for it, but the squids had actually thought ahead, and guarded the door. Jerome peered over to me, and then to Squillium.
"What's up Squiddy bro?" He said, holding his hand out. Squillium said nothing, but simply looked at him. Embarrassed, Jerome put down his hand.
"Now then, I would like a few answers from you two." Squillium said, leaning back in his chair. I scoffed.
"And why do you think we would answer to a low life creature like you?" Jerome said, clenching his fists.
"Because this "low life creature" knows a thing or two, believe it or not." He said, standing up. He walked over to a brown cabinet in the room and revealed a small bottle. He brought it back to us, and held it out.
"This is a damage potion, made by our finest sorcerer. One hit from this and you'll feel like your in extreme pain for hours, maybe even days. And don't even think about asking your friend for an antidote. I have already made him swear by magic not to." My eyes grew wide with shock and betrayal.
"Jokes still on you! Baccas can't be effected by potions! We're immune!" Jerome laughed, crossing his arms and legs.
Squillium's face didn't change.
"I'm well aware of that, but your friend here isn't Jerome." At that moment, I felt two other gaurds grab me around each arm. I looked in alarm to Jerome.
"Hey! Let him go!" Jerome yelled.
"Not until you give me what I want to here."
Jerome looked at me. I looked back at him pleadingly.
"What do you want?" He asked cautiously.
"I want the where abouts of your friends, and what they are planning to do to my people."
He turned to look back at me, and back to Squillium.he thought for a moment, and then replied blankly,"I will never share the secrets of my army. I will protect them, no matter how much pain will be brought down on me."
Squillium wasn't pleased by this answer.
"Fine. If that how you want to be." Squillium grabbed the potion off the table. Jerome watched in horror as he approached me.
"Oh, by the way-" he said, staring me into the eyes,"I may or may not have lied about the effects of this potion." I gasped in shock. Then, I heard the sound of breaking glass, a scream, and felt my body erupt in pain. I screamed, wailing for help as Jerome stood where he was, speechless with horror.
My breathing became heavier and shallower, and I groaned as I felt my back get hot. Then, I screamed as 6 long, blue tentacles grew out of my back. Heaving with exhaustion, the gaurds let me go and I collapsed to the floor. They stepped aside as Jerome ran up to me, his eyes as wide as saucers.
"What did you do to him!" He screamed, clearly full of fury.
"You did that to him. Gaurds, take Jerome to his cell. I'm going to stay with Ty."
I watched tiredly as the gaurds struggled to get Jerome back to his cell. He kicked and squirmed, tiring to get back to me. Unfortunately, the squids were just too strong, and they pulled him down the hallway and out of sight.
"So Ty, feel any different?" Squillium asked as I laid on the floor, helpless. I tiredly growled.
"Other than the fact that I have blue eyes and tentacles growing out of my back?"
Squillium rolled his eyes.
"The last effect must have not wore in yet. Just give it a few seconds."
At that moment, I felt something else change. But it wasn't physically. It was mentally. My mind started getting hazy, but it also was starting to think weird thoughts, such as revenge and death. I groaned as I felt a massive migraine coming on. I laid my head to the floor, and jerked. Suddenly, everything good in me seemed to just flow out of my body and instead get replaced by anger and loyalty. Loyalty to squids, that is. I also suddenly gained a large amount of strength, which I used to push myself up onto my feet. My tentacles spread out in different directions, and I had a new kind of evil gleam in my eye.
"So Ty? Does anything seem different?"
I looked at Squillium and nodded.
"Yes Squillium. I want to join you, and take down Sky's Army, one general at a time."
