(Ty's POV, 2 weeks later)

"Squidlox!" I turned around at the sound of my name being called. Stopping my hard battle training session, I turned my attention to a guard coming through the door. It was a young girl, no older than 17, with blue hair and dark blue eyes.

"Oh, hey Shell." I said casually, swinging the sword I was holding lazily in the air. Shell was a hybrid like me, except she didn't have tentacles or human colored flesh like I did. Instead, her skin was dark blue, and her fingers all each had suction cups on the ends of then. In a way, I guess you could say she was a hybrid that was only half successful, like me.

"Squillium wanted me to tell you that he wants you to pay a visit to the prisoners with Seto." She said, lowering her head respectfully. I nodded.

"Alright. Do you know where Seto is?" I asked, walking over to a large sword rack and placing my sword carefully next to the others.

"No, I don't Squidlox. I'm sorry I cannot answer your question." She said in a sad tone. My body lurched at her comment. Suddenly, I felt very different. I felt like I had just lost control to my limbs, as if they had just grown a mind of their own.

"You can't answer my question, eh?" I said, turning around slowly. Shell gasped.

"Squidlox...you aren't yourself..your eyes..." She stuttered. I laughed menacingly. I turned my head around, and looked into the sword, using it like a mirror. My eyes were slotted like a cats, and they looked like they had a fire burning in them.

"What are you saying, my dear? I feel completely normal." I said with a twisted grin. I started reaching for the sword I had just put away. Shell, noticing my sudden movements, instantly made a dash for the door. I swung one of my tentacles at her, and it managed to wrap around her leg. She screamed in terror.

"Squidlox! Stop it! Let go of me!" She screamed, tugging her leg, trying to break herself free. She started to hit my tentacle with her arms, but it DD nothing. My other tentacles slipped themselves around her other limbs, eventually leaving her immobile.
She looked at me, eyes blazing with fear. I brought the sword I was holding above my head.

"I'm sorry Shell, you have left me no choice." I said blankly, my eyes flashing a deeper, even more blue color than they were. "I don't take no for an answer."

Shell, gazing at me with tear-stained cheeks, closed her eyes, and stayed still, accepting her coming fate.

The sword came down in moments, and Shell was dead.

My tentacles unwrapped themselves from the body, and she fell to the ground, motionless and dead. I let go of the sword, and it landed with a clunk. I kicked the body off to side, and stepped out of the room, not looking back.

I decided to go look for Seto after leaving Shell's body in the training room.

"Hm, now where would Seto be?" I said, tapping my chin. A lightbulb went off, and I started heading for the stairs. It was so obvious; his study. I ran quickly and silently up the stairs, slowing my pace as I neared his floor. I soon made it, and walked up to his door. I knocked on it 3 times, and on the 3rd knock, I heard the handle twist, and saw the familiar brown hair and purple cape the Wizard wore.

"Oh...hi Squidlox...what do you want?" He said, opening the door fully.

"Squillium wants us to visit the prisoners." I said, leaning up against his doorframe. He said nothing.

Finally, after a few moments, Seto replied dully,"Ok, lead the way." He stepped out of his room, and closed the door behind him. I walked to the prisoners temporary rooms, with Seto walking next to me, silent.

We finally made it to the prisoner's chambers. I pushed open the large wooden door, and Seto followed behind. I heard the sounds of the prisoners heads turn.

I walked silently through the cells, and as I passed each cell, I was met with same response; gasps of shock. I brushed off the comments, and didn't stop walking until I was in front of Sky's cell. Sky didn't move from his position on the floor, but simply turned his head my direction.

"So Sky, are you comfortable?" I sneered. Sky snorted.

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine. Now, go crawl back to Squillium. You disgust me." He said crossly.

"Wow, takes a lot of gut to talk to Ty that way Sky." I said, laughing. Sky hung his head.

"You are not Ty. Don't disgrace his name like that." He grumbled. I rolled my eyes.

"Like I care. I personally like this form of him better." I commented, looking at my beautiful tentacles. Sky said nothing.

"Your no fun Sky." I pouted. He glanced up at me, and even though he tried not to show it, I could see that he was getting angry; his hands were balled into fists that looked like they would never come undone. His fists were shaking.

Suddenly, a fist slammed a cell door. I whipped my head around, and saw Mitch standing, shaking with fury.

"Alright you. I have a simple question for you. Where the freak is Jerome." He said, seething. I chuckled. Walking over to him, I could see the anger in his eyes. Perhaps we should convert him next. I stopped infront of his cell, and smirked.

"Oh, are you talking about that little Bacca we found in the woods?" I said, playing with him. He's eyes grew even wider with fury.

"Where is he! If you as much as touched his body, I'm going to skin you!" He threatened. I smiled. Yes, he would be perfect to convert. All this anger, about to be crushed. His soul would be easily taken over.

Smiling, I was ready to deliver the news.

"Oh, Mitch, I'm sorry, but I think you just a little too late.." I said, pausing. I glanced behind me. Everyone was looking at me.

"...the truth is, Jerome is dead."
