(Sky's POV)

The squids in the bar stared us, their looks of surprise and confusion burning my skin. I shakily swallowed. As I rethought the plan, I guess I didn't realize how hard turning myself over to the enemy actually was going to be.

"Get them!"

My eyes grew wide as the squids broke out of their traces, and hurled themselves at us. They screeched with fury as they attempted to capture me. Their slimy tentacles wrapped around my arms and legs, trying to stop any escape.

I started clawing like mad, scratching at their legs and eyes. Their grasps started to loosen as I flailed. I kicked my leg, and sent a squid flying off of it, making the squid hit the wall. He fell to the floor, dazed. I smirked as I realized that I had taken out yet another squid from this fight.

I only then realized that I must've angered them, because more began to flood me. I was about to call out for help, when a squid jumped on my face, squirting ink all over it. I screamed, thrashing my head around, trying to clear it. I knew that squid ink could blind a man if it got into their eyes, so my priorities changed from getting the squids off to keeping my vision.

I managed to wipe most of it off in my sleeve, and as I slowly opened my eyes, I was able to see Mitch, threw the battle. Liv was bravely swinging her fists at them, and Ian and Jason were working together to fight off a crowd of the vile creatures. My attention turned back to Mitch as I heard him gasp. He was being taken down by 3 very strong-looking squids, with large muscles and scars on their face. They obviously had been in battle before.

Mitch was fighting back, swinging his fists and kicking his legs. The squids easily dodged his attacks, and continued to fight back. As I watched, I realized their was something off about his offensive moves. Mitch had always had pin point accuracy with his blows, so why we're these squids dodging his attacks so easily? Try should have been beaten to a pulp by now.

His head turner toward me, and I have a small gasp. His left eye was swollen, and he had many cuts and scratches across his cheeks and forehead. He Shuddered, and I saw his body fall limp. His eyes closed, and his breaths fell deeper and slower.

My heart skipped a beat.

No...Mitch can NOT be dead, not when we've gotten so close! The squids are cruel, but they wouldn't kill over a small bicker like this!

The squids smirked as they climbed off him, clearly aware of his defeat. They went to join the battle elsewhere, and that's when Mitch's eyes opened again, and he smirked. I was speechless. I couldn't believe it.

Oh Mitch, You smart little trickster. You're acting. I realized.

Smirking back, I followed in Mitch's plan. I began to slow my kicks and punches, and even allowed the squids to take a few blows on me. I also started to breathe deep and quickly, pretending to be out of breath from the struggle. I made my body fall limp, and I could tell the squids were confused.

The others must've realized what me and Mitch were doing, because the sounds of punches and kicks had diminished to almost nothing. I heard the sound of bodies "collapsing" to the floor, and their quick and rapid breaths. I'm sure if they even needed to add the breathing effect. This squids out up quite a fight, and I felt exhausted.

Luckily, the squids believed that we actually were too exhausted to fight back, and took the bait. I felt their tentacles slip around my wrists and ankles, and their grasps tighten.

"Go alert the guard. We are going to become rich tonight." I heard a squid sneer to another. The bar door opened and closed quickly, obviously noting that a squid had left to alert their leader.

After about 10 minutes of just laying chained on the floor, I finally heard the door blast open and saw squids in large bulky armor storm in. They headed straight towards us, grabbing our wrists and binding them together. I didn't fight back, trying to keep my defeated persona on. The guard then quickly pulled us to our feet, and lead us away without a word. The squids in the bar watched intently as we left. I studied their faces as we left, and all I could in the room were faces full of smirks and excitement.

The gaurds led the group of us through the sewer, until we mad it to a grate at a dead end of a tunnel. I looked over at my friends, who all shared looks of confusion, and horror.

Please don't make us have to swim underneath one of those again.

Luckily, two of the gaurds moved the grate away with ease, and they was us through the new tunnel, sloshing through the murky water.

"Ugh, how much longer?" I complained as we walked through more of the sewer pipes. My pants and shoes were soaked, and it was becoming extremely uncomfortable to walk it.

"Quiet. We are almost there." The guard hold me said gruffly. As we walked, I could see s light coming up in the distance, and I instantly realized this must've been the squids new base that we hadn't been able to locate. They lead us to the end of the pipe, and as they cleared away some long hanging ivy, we were finally able to see the base.

They led us through the ivy, and into the actually base. We all gazed in awe. The base looked like a city, with tall buildings and millions of squids. The smell of the foul creatures engulfed my senses, making me gag.

"Come on you, you have a special meeting to attend." The guard holding me said, pushing me forward. I fell to my knees, easily scratching them. I grumbled something not very nice under my breath, and then stood back up.

I looked back, and saw my friends getting dragged off in the opposite direction.

"Hey! Where are you taking them!" I yelled furiously.

"Be quiet! That is none of your concern at ye moment." The guard said as he dragged me to a large white building in the center of the city. I looked up at the roof, and realized it was engraved with the words City Hall.

Oh yay, a meeting with the one and only Squillium.

The Squid pushed open the door, and lead me straight past a receptionist, who stood there, shocked. He pushed open a set of large wooden doors, and shoved me inside. He closed them behind me, and I was left in the room alone.

"Well well well. If it isn't the one and only Sky. Such a pleasure to see you." A sly voice said behind me.

I gasped, falling to my knees. My eyes were wide with shock. That voice, it was so familiar.

I slowly turned my head over a shoulder.

Standing behind me was Ty.

Omg I haven't updated in like 3 weeks and I'm so freaking sorry!

Jerome: yeah, you should be.

Be quiet Jerome, I haven't missed you or your sarcasm.
