(Sky's POV)

We managed to lure Squidlox to a large clearing just outside of the city.

"Hahahahaha! Pathetic, no good criminals! Your time to die is soon!" Squidlox said as we stopped running. Liz was breathing heavily, while Ian was dripping with sweat. I laughed between my quick breaths.

"You may think that Squid, but we are prepared to fight you." I said. Squidlox scoffed, and then laughed.

"Ha! You really think your going to beat me? I'm way more stronger than you, and I have a whole army with me." He said, cackling.

I smirked. "Well, if you feel that you can beat us, then call off your soldiers. Us against you."

Squidlox stopped laughing, and then grinned. "Hm...id never back down from a challenge." He turned to his soldiers, but they didn't need to be commanded. They began to back away, leaving just us and Squidlox in the clearing.

Squidlox slid a smug grin my way. "You won't win you know. Your toying with death you silly little boy." Then, before I could blink, he took the first lunge. His large, slimy tentacle came straight at me, and I barely cleared its ugly suction cups.

"Your to have to be faster than that." He said, before lashing out again, this time with all his tentacles. It was a frenzy, dodging his tentacles. He was laughing menacingly as we dodged and jumped.

This is a game to him. How sick. I thought as I did a ninja roll. Well, two can play at this game too.

"Alright Squid. Enough playing around." I said as I jumped to my feet. Wielding my sword, I ran straight at him. He was caught off guard at my sudden offensive move, and I was able to get a good swing at his tentacles. I felt a fierce satisfaction at I heard the pained yelp of Squidlox as my blade struck the flesh.

As I swung, some voice screamed at the back of mind Stop! Your hurting him! I had to push that thought back. As much as I hated to think it was true, I had to kill off this beast.

Squidlox, who was now fuming, drew his own sword, and swung bravely and quickly at me. I could her the swing of the blade as it cut through the air, and I missed the blade with centimeters to spare. Ian, Jason, and Liz had joined in the battle now too, and I could see Squidlox was becoming overwhelmed, with the sudden amount of enemies attacking at once. He became angry, and one of his untouched tentacles hit me with such force that it sent me flying right into a wall. I hit with a massive thud, and slid down the wall, slightly unconscious.

"Sky!" I heard Jason call out to me. I lifted my head in response, and I heard a sigh of relief come from Ian. But that only lasted a moment before I heard a scream. That snapped me back into reality, and I jumped to my feet. My eyes grew wide with shock as I realized that Jason was now caught in Squidlox's tight, slimy grip.

"Help me please!" He pleaded. At that moment, time seemed to slow down, and I felt a sudden burst of rage. I ran straight at Squidlox, who was completely taken over my shock at my sudden recovery. I screamed a battle scream, and then brought the sword down on his tentacle. The blade cut right through, and it fell to the ground. Jason scrambled out of it, while Squidlox screamed in agony. His agonizing cry pierced my right in the heart.

That's Ty screaming...he's in pain.

I wanted to run straight at him and tell him he's ok, but i couldn't. I new I would have to listen to him be in pain to free him. Funny how that works, isn't it?

"Ugh, I hope this becomes easier." I mumbled before lunging back at him.

Mitch and Jerome: Wow Citrus, things are really heating up. But, what about Seto and that Trevor kid?

Citrus: Well, I guess we can check in on them too before the chapter is over.

Mitch and Jerome: Whoo!

(Seto's POV)

Sweat fell from my face as I launched another spell at Trevor. He had grown powerful, I'll give him that.

"You lied to me! Your only a dirty...no good....LIER!" Trevor screamed, launching yet another magic spell at me. I dodged it quickly, but I couldn't imagine how he wasn't tired yet. He had been throwing powerful magic, and he didn't have s single bead of sweat on him.

"Trevor, as much as I want to say I'm sorry, I just can't! I was never truly loyal to this blasted place! I'm not a traitor, because I never pledged myself to it!" I screamed over his fury. Trevor stared at me, and then did the unthinkable. He flicked away his magic. Keeping mine at battle stance, I watched as he pulled a piece of parchment out of his pocket.

"Actually Seto, you did. I made sure to befriend the Squid mayor, so I couldn't use this against you one day, in case something like this happened."

I suddenly realized what he was holding.
