(Sky's POV)

"Skyyyyyy! I'm tired!" Jerome whined as we trekked through the desolate plains biome. We had been walking day and night, taking shifts sleeping and fighting. I looked at everyone, and realized they all looked like death had came. Mitch was sleepily holding onto Jerome's shoulder for support, and Ian was walking with only one eye open.

"Well, I guess we can settle down for a day or two. I mean, we need new tools and armor anyway." I sighed, looking down at my chestplate, which was filled with cracks and dents from mob attacks. Though I didn't want to stop our journey to get Ty back, I knew I couldn't make them travel exhausted. Everyone sighed happily with relief, and almost collapsed right where they were standing.

"Where can we shelter?" Jason asked, yawning. He had been up since dawn, since he had taken the morning shift to protect us while the rest of us slept. Out of everyone who was with me, Jason looked like he needed rest the most. I scanned the area, and pointed towards a small cave in the ground. We all ran over. I cautiously began climbed down into it. Once I realized it wasn't took far of a climb, I motioned everyone to climb down. Ian followed first, taking the climb down step by step. Once he had met solid ground, Mitch and Jerome followed. They both made it safely to the ground. Looking up, I called out to the final person, Jason.

"Jason! It's your turn to come down!"

Jason swung his knees over the side of the cave and started climbing down. Everything was going great, until I heard the sound of a timer going off, a and a loud boom erupted, sending us flying. Jason lost his footing and fell, landing on the ground with a large thud.

I had been thrown against a nearby wall. I rubbed my head, quickly looking to see if everyone else was ok.

"Ugh...is everyone ok?" I asked. I was met with 3 murmurs of assurance, but Jason stayed silent. Stumbling over, I ran next to him and started to check him over frantically.

"Jason! Jason can you hear me?" I questioned, shaking him. Jason groaned.

"Jason! Oh my gosh! Are you ok?!" I asked, looking at his arms and legs.

"I-I think I'm ok. I think I twisted my ankle though, on the fall." He said, slowly pushing himself into a sitting position. I looked at him firmly.

"Well then, I guess we are going to have to make ourselves comfortable in these caves. We aren't going anywhere until that ankle is healed." I said. Jason tried to assure me he was fit enough to travel, but I didn't listen. Instead, I walked over to Ian, who looked a little dazed, but for the most part ok.

"Hey Ian, you ok?" I asked. He nodded.

"Do you know what exploded behind us?" I asked, pulling him up onto his feet. He shrugged.

"It wasn't a creeper, I know that for a fact. Maybe a mine trap?" He said. I shook my head.

"It couldn't have been. This cave isn't an abandon mineshaft!" I said back. Ian shrugged. I turned away, and quickly ran over to Mitch and Jerome.

"Are you both ok?" I asked, pulling them both onto their feet. Mitch had a gash over his left eye, probably from hitting the stone, but Jerome seemed uninjured.

"Man, what was that?!" Jerome asked. I shrugged.

"I have no idea. But I do know that we are going to have to settle down here for a few days at the least. Jason has a twisted ankle and we can't travel with that. It will only slow us down. Jerome, can you go see if there is any wood nearby for a fire? Im going to explore the cave abut more. Mitch, here's the first aid kit. Bandage that nasty cut, would ya?" I said, tossing Mitch the bright red bag. He nodded, and started pulling out the bandage wrap. Jerome started to climb up the cave in search of wood, and I pulled out my torches.

"Ian, stay with Jason ok?" I said as I walked past him. He stood up and nodded. He walked over to Jason, and started talking with him. Seeing everything was handled, I placed my first torch and started going deeper into the dark cave.
