Chapter 14

(Mitch's POV) <-whoa brand new POV :O

I walked up behind the bacca and gave him a hug, trying to calm him down.

"Hey Bacca, shut up please. You gotta save those words when they're needed." I said, a hint of amusement in my tone. He looked over his shoulder, and sighed.

"Your right benja." He said as I led him back into his seat. I looked at Sky.

"Well? Aren't we going after him?"

Sky nodded.

"Of course we are Mitch. What friends would we be if we just left him in the hands of squids?! He'll be killed!" Jason said, frustration behind every word.

"Well then, come on!" Ian said, opening the door. We all stood up, and ran out of the room. We ran past many recruits, who all shared the same look of confusion. I don't blame them. It was really rare for us to have this big of a dilemma.

We ran to the weapons room, down on the lowest story of the castle. Sky ran straight for his prized weapon of choice, a 30 level enchanted budder sword that had been passed down through his family for generations. Ian took a non enchanted budder sword, Jerome grabbed Betty from her special case, Jason grabbed another budder sword, and I grabbed an infinity bow and arrow.

"Sky, do you think we will need armor for this?" Jason asked, flying around on his jetpack, doing a few practice swings in the air. Sky nodded.

"Since our last battle, the squids have moved camp. Our scouts haven't been able to find their camp since. Since I don't know what we will come across, I think it's safe to say armor is important."

No one opposed.

After we geared up, Sky motioned us together.

"Ok guys, I can't put this lightly, so listen up. We have battled these squids plenty of times before, but just because we beat them before doesn't mean we will beat them again. We aren't bringing other recruits to risk their safety, so it's EXTREMELY important that we stick together through this. Ty's life depends on it."

We all muttered in agreement.

"So, what do you say guys?" Sky said, putting his hand out. I looked at Jason, then Ian, then Jerome, and then finally Sky. I threw my hand on top of his.

"For Ty." I whispered to the others.

Everyone put their hands in.
