Krista waited for this trip to happen. She waited for days, weeks, and even a month for this day to pass— she's going to Korea with her friend, Seokjin in a few hours. Damn was the first word in her mind, hoping that time would fly fast already because she couldn't wait to travel anymore. She is excited to see and explore the country, their culture, how the food tastes like, and whatnot. She also searched stuff about Korea and there's this famous thing in Korea that is called K-Pop. Going to Youtube and typing out k-pop, the first thing that appeared was GirlsGeneration. She agreed that they aren't bad when in fact, they could sing and dance at the same time, which she couldn't do, unfortunately.
She dances like a stick.

"Krista, wake up," she heard Seokjin's voice once she accepted the call from her phone. It's exactly twelve in the morning and the flight is in a few hours so she literally had to get up from her bed even if she's feeling comfortable.
"Why?" she blinked her heavy eyes several times, her sight still pretty blurry and her voice hoarse. She's immediately regretting the fact that she slept at ten in the evening— she's sleep deprived.
"We need to go to the airport before two am. You need to dress yourself up, prepare the things you're going to bring to Korea— you know the drill. Double time, all right? Our flight is at six am," he answered Krista's question, sounding like a complete mom who is worried twenty-four-seven.
"Mm, yes Sir," she hummed as a response as she intended to stumble down on her bed. Seokjin ended the call, making Krista grumble since she wanted to go back to sleep, her eyes still feeling heavy. Roughly thirsty minutes of getting herself ready for the trip, she grabbed her luggage along with her satchel. She's beyond excited and her heart is burning from happiness.
Krista sent a message to Seokjin that she's ready so he immediately directed himself to Krista's room, knocking on the front door— in which Krista immediately opened for him. She's instantly smiling widely at him, trying to show that she's absolutely excited for the trip. He beamed back at her, which was cute.
"I already called a cab. Shall we go, Ms. Excited-To-Go-To-Korea Girl?" he softly chuckled after he gave out a long name for Krista. She giggled at him, nodding as a response. She noticed the outfit he was wearing— plain black clothes, too perfect for him. "Anyway, before we go... let's have a picture."
He took out the pink Polaroid camera inside his bag and Krista couldn't help but smile at how adorable he is right now. Pink, she was reminded that he actually likes the color pink; it's his favorite. The thought of Seokjin wasting a film out of ten for Krista makes her heart flutter, feeling flattered.
"Your camera is cute," she commented before Seokjin would take a picture with her.
"Oh, this?" he pointed his camera, looked at it and to Krista after, making her nod. The both of them took a picture, making Krista's eyes squint from the high exposure of the flash of the camera. "My girlfriend gave it to me before I left Korea."
Minutes passed when they reached the airport and did what they had to do to get access for their flight. They finally aimed themselves at the waiting area after putting their large bags at the luggage area. The both of them sat on the empty seats and began to rest. Silence filled in them, making Krista pout her lips after she sighed. She wanted to have a friendly conversation with him.
"Jin, are you excited to see your girlfriend?" she asked him, really hesitated if she's going to ask him that or no. She, on the other side, is also excited to see his girlfriend although she is more excited to see the country where he lived before moving to California. All of a sudden, he leaned his head on her shoulder and huffed loudly, making Krista widen her eyes in surprise, her heart beating faster than usual.
"We've been arguing lately," he said in a tone of sadness. She looked at the top of his head and felt sympathy. Krista wanted to ask more but she's afraid that it might bother Seokjin or maybe he's not interested to talk about it.
"I'm sorry. I should've kept my mouth shut," she mumbled, eventually regretting about the idea of asking him that. Seokjin chuckled as he stopped leaning on Krista's shoulder. The both of them made eye contact and Krista began to appreciate his beautiful face.
"No, it's fine. I also want to open up so... can I?" he bit his lip, crossing his arms. Krista found it attractive; why is he biting his lip in front of her?
"Of course you can," she exclaimed. God, she sounded more excited than usual.
"Krista," he sighed loudly, "Lately, Irene and I have been arguing about this stupid long-distance relationship, clubbing, drinking, and sadly— about a guy. She's hanging out with this guy almost every time at the bar. I know it's stupid of me to feel jealous since I'm also hanging out with a person that is opposite my sex but at least we don't go to clubs and get drunk. I don't know... it makes me feel like she's hiding something from me."
Krista felt mad at his girlfriend deep inside even if she doesn't know that girl in real life yet. By the way Seokjin told her that, she felt angry. She remembered what happened between her and Casper— almost the same excuses as Seokjin's girlfriend. She's afraid that he's getting cheated on and Krista wants the least thing to happen for Seokjin is to get hurt.
The both of them kept on talking. Krista gave some crappy yet useful advice to Seokjin, hoping it was helpful. Her expression on Seokjin's girlfriend is now a hoe, in her own opinion. When she gets to meet her in real life, she'll keep calling the girl a hoe in her — she's indeed a hoe, all right. Hours passed and the announcer began to broadcast about the flight time, making the both of Krista and Seokjin to stand up from their seats.
Seokjin stretched out his long arms while Krista switched her phone to airplane mode. As they began to walk, he slung his arm around Krista's shoulder. Obviously, Krista has a fragile heart towards Seokjin so her happy-self is cherishing the things that happen between her and Seokjin. She's aware that she's having small feelings with Seokjin although she kept denying it to herself, forcing herself not to like her own friend.
The both of them were excited even as they entered the airplane. Seokjin found their assigned seats and he let Krista sit first. The both of them sat comfortably, Seokjin smiling at her, leaning his head on her shoulder once again. "This is going to be a long day. California is quite far from Korea so go to sleep."
The both of them drifted to sleep; enjoying each other's company.
