eighteen: departure
One week has passed and Krista is ready to go. She finished packing her stuff inside her large luggage. She gave half of her money for their rent in the apartment where they were supposed to stay for more than weeks in Korea. However, in memory of her trip in this country, she didn't forget to buy souvenirs for herself and for her parents.
Two hours had passed when she began to stay at the airport... unfortunately, with Seokjin. He forced himself that he wanted to at least see her before she goes back to her country in order to know that she's safe. Obviously, she gave in but silence was all she got from him. No words came out of his mouth ever since the both of them left the room of the apartment and Krista, too, did that.
After checking in and was ready to go inside the waiting room, she hesitantly looked at him and cracked an awkward grin.
"Thank you for dragging me to Korea. I had a lot of fun," she said, smiling weakly while clenching her phone from her hand. She wanted to have a picture with him, at least. She waited for an answer but no words came out from Seokjin's mouth.
She just sighed and turned around, starting to move her feet slowly because she feels like he isn't going to speak at all but all of a sudden, he grabbed my wrist and forcefully turned her around to face him. He hugged her tightly.
"Were you even happy? Were you happy waiting and staying in Korea for almost two months when you should be studying? Were you even all right staying with me when I hurt you the most? Krista, I heard your confession. It really got and brought me back to reality."
Oh my gosh, don't bring up this topic.
"I'm glad that you told me what you feel. I really do. Thank you that you had the courage to tell me what you feel but I'm sorry I couldn't give you back the feelings you have for me because I haven't fully moved on yet. But I love being with you. I feel at ease and safe when I'm with you. You're like my best friend. And you're the least person I want to hurt because you're all I got."
Best friend. She heard it clearly.
"I'm sorry that I brought you to pain, Krista. When I come back to California, I promise to make up on you."
As he pulled away from the hug, he scratched the back of his neck and left a smile on his face. He didn't realize that tears also fell down from my eyes.
"You better be!" Krista joked while playfully slapping Seokjin's broad shoulder and the both of them laughed. "Can we have a picture before I leave?"
"No way, my fan!" he sarcastically said while nodding his head. They took a lot of pictures together; even emptied her films from ten to zero and spent it all for Seokjin.
"Hurry up, Krista. You might miss the flight," he smiled as he placed his hands on his pocket.
"Silly, my flight is still around 12 AM and it's still 10:30 PM. Now you go and let's just talk through social media. I'll miss you, thank you."
"I'll miss you too. Have a safe flight."

"Huh," she groaned, while slumping on her bed in her own apartment. She gives thanks to God that she got home safely. Opening her phone, she instantly went to her social media account and began posting about social media.
After posting, she immediately went through her chatbox with Seokjin.
krista: hi jin. i have arrived for about an hour ago. lmao i'm so tired
seokjin: oh hey! glad you got home safely. pls rest as possible as you can!
krista: you too. :)
seokjin: thank you! now, go sleep!!!She smiled at his last message and hugged her warm pillow. She may be a weird girl or not right now but having feelings with his last message means that he really cares about her.
