The never-ending crushing force of waves, the active and salty water hitting the soft sand, the intimate breeze of the air that made Krista's hair wind up, sticking on her wet face. Krista couldn't forget the things she saw in real life. All Krista wanted was to have tranquility that she fails to achieve at this moment. She couldn't stop from sobbing, her head placed on Seokjin's broad shoulder. Despite the somnolent feeling Seokjin's eyes feel, he didn't leave his friend alone. He is fully aware that he is somebody Krista needs at this situation.

Seokjin was shivering from the cold air after he offered his jacket to Krista since she's only wearing a tank top. He doesn't mind giving the jacket to her because he's wearing a tee shirt and let's not forget; he's a gentleman.

"Krista," Seokjin muttered, still attempting to soothe the girl. He came up with an idea he did before and he hopes it could help her. "Please stand up. There is something I want you to do."

Krista, still feeling weak and emotional, stood her ass up from the sand with the guide of Seokjin's hand. He weakly smiled at her, hoping it would help her out since he's absolutely getting worried at Krista. This is the best thing he could do, he guesses.

The both of them were standing in front of the ocean, Seokjin still rubbing her back gently, Krista wiping her uncontrollably tears using the palm of her hands. Seokjin huffed, hoping that his shit would work. "All right, Krista. So I had a heartbreak back in high school and I did this in front of the ocean around midnight as well. I screamed my lungs out and vented myself out by taking my anger out in front of the ocean. Scream it out, Krista. Tell Casper how fucked up of a person he is. You don't deserve him, Krista."

"Jin, you don't have to do this," Krista muttered, looking up to face Seokjin. She looked hideous right now and she's completely aware with it. Looks don't mind as of the moment, she believes.  Her feelings mattered right now ― nothing else, nothing more. First, she woke Seokjin up from his sleep at two in the freaking morning. Second, she dragged him into this mess when he's not supposed to witness anything from this. "I ― I am sorry for dragging you for my mess."

"I have to do this, Krista. You know it ― it hurts me seeing you like this. I can't let you go alone at this hour since it's dangerous. You're worth of a person, Krista. Remember that, okay?" Seokjin told her, smiling. Krista only nodded her head since she doesn't know how to respond to that. "Now scream it out. I promise you, you'll feel a lot better after ranting it out to the lonely ocean."

So she did. She screamed it out. Told the ocean that Casper is one fuck-of-a-person and he's so despicable to betray Krista's trust. Cried that people like Dara are someone she shouldn't trust anymore. She bawled her eyes out, screaming everything she has in her mind until her throat became completely dry. She's tired.

Seokjin was just listening at the words Krista let out, gazing at her with empathy. Seokjin reminisced his past, getting rejected and betrayed as well. He promised himself before that he wouldn't love anymore but another person came into his life; making him break his own vow.

The both of them finally went home. Krista wanted to admit to herself that she felt a lot better but she isn't in the mood to speak a word. Seokjin walked with Krista until they arrived in front of her apartment room. The both of them went silent, Krista not able to function any word from her mouth, Seokjin waiting for her to go inside her home.

"Thank you, Jin," Krista softly murmured yet was able for Seokjin to hear. "Sorry for bothering y―"

"Don't apologize, Krista. You did nothing wrong, all right? I'll always be here for you, okay? That's a promise starting from now on. You can knock on my door anytime you want, rant anything you like until you run out of something to share, I'll be here," Seokjin replied calmly. Krista hugged Seokjin tightly and sobbed. "All right, all right. You should rest now because I'm sure you need it."

"Thank you," Krista muttered, pulling away from the hug. Appreciation is what she feels towards Seokjin because throughout the event, he never left her by her side. She opened the door of her room, went inside, and smiled weakly at her neighbor. "Have a rest too."

Seokjin nodded and waved his hand at Krista, giving her a heads up to feel better. She locked the door of her home and the first thing she did was go get a glass of water. She felt crusty, dehydrated, empty, and exhausted. Drank the water out, letting it pass through the throat, hydrating it back.

It's four in the morning.

― ― ―

If only school days aren't in Krista's calendar, she would be resting herself for weeks. Unfortunately, she couldn't. She already went absent for three days, mourning herself from the pain she endured the past few days. Here she is, showing herself up in her school's cafeteria, lazily eating up her lunch.

"Krista, we need to have a nice talk," Casper went to the scene out of the blue, making Krista's heart burn in anger, sadness, and hatred. She's not even in the mood to talk to anybody ― she would even have the guts to talk to Casper? Hell, no.

"There is nothing to talk about," she murmured, not looking at Casper. He noticed her bloathed eyes which absolutely made him feel guilty but there's nothing he can do to undo what he did. He is stupid for sure.

Casper suddenly pulled Krista's wrist to make her stand from the seat and direct themselves to a hallway, making Krista shudder. They began walking, him forcing her to go with him, but Krista couldn't manage to pull away from his grip.

"Take your filthy hands off of me―"

Casper interrupted Krista from her demand as he began to speak, trying to explain the truth to her. "Look, Krista, I'm sorry. You already know that Dara and I are best friends. Maybe we're just friends-with-benefits. I ― I don't know. It's for fun―"

Krista heard enough from him, not wanting to make him speak again. The moment she heard the word fun made her sick. Filthy, filthy; such filthy words coming out from his mouth. Slap; she gave him that. "Fun, huh? Fun. Friends with benefits. You're being selfish, Casper, honestly stupidly selfish. You didn't even think about my feelings, are you? Why? Am I not worth it for you, your time, everything? Tell me; were you fucking with Dara for a long time now? Your excuses, thesis your ass, shithead."

"I'm sorry―"

"Sorry doesn't fix anything, Casper. You think that word would help our relationship? God ― I'm tired. Let's break up."

She began walking away from Casper once he loosened his grip, suddenly bursting out her tears once again. She knows she's going to miss him very much; he means a lot to her; he's supposed to be her everything. Why did this turn out like this? She gave half of her life to him; she's aware that she loved him more than pizza.

"Krista, I'm really sorry," Casper called, tears formed in his eyes, after he chased her. He doesn't give up, is it?

Krista was about to scream in front of Casper, not caring about what people think to her, still walking away. She was just eating food earlier so how did it turn like this?

"Hey, Krista. What's wrong?" she suddenly stopped from her tracks and looked at the right, a door opening, Seokjin going out from a room. It's Seokjin that comes in her when anything bad happens. He saw Casper; Casper saw him.

Seokjin glared at Krista's boyfriend, or ex-boyfriend, whatever floats the boat. His blood began to boil, obviously annoyed at Casper even if he's not the one who got hurt ― but Krista.
