krista's pov

I woke up from my loud alarm clock. I groaned and managed to turn the alarm clock off.

"Goodness, damn it," I muttered under my breath as I saw the time. "Six-thirty in the fucking morning."

I decided to just get up since I can't get to sleep again. I did the usual routine and after that, I checked my phone. I got several messages from people. All messages are birthday greetings. It's my birthday.

After reading some messages, I finally reached Jungkook and I's conversation. I opened it as I got excited to see his birthday message for me.

I grinned at his text message and realized that I'm already blushing. Gosh, why is Jungkook doing this to me? I'm not worthy for him.

I sighed and slumped on my couch, still waiting and hoping for someone to greet me, or maybe he doesn't know it's my birthday.

I made up a task to visit Jin's apartment and will tell him about my birthday treat later for the ones who are invited. I hope he would go.

I went to Jin's door and knocked several times until he opened it. Jin looked like he just woke up since his hair is absolutely messy.

"Oh, Krista," he said, sounding very hoarse.

"Hi Jin. I just want to let you know that it's my birthday today—" I stopped and eventually heaved for a heavy sigh. "I am inviting you to my mini-celebration later at Rub City. Six pm, can you?"

His widened eyes are staring at me. "I—I-I-I didn't know i-it's your birthday. I'm sorry, but happy birthday, Krista!"

Right, he really didn't know it's my birthday. I suddenly felt pain and sadness when I knew that he doesn't know about my birthday. Well, stupid of me. I didn't even tell him before since he didn't even ask me about it.

"Thanks," I gulped, trying my best to smile. "Now, can you attend my birthday celeb—"

"Yes, of course I will! Do I have to wear something formal or—"

I chuckled as I cut him off. "No, Jin. You just have to wear anything casual and what makes you comfortable. That restaurant isn't even that formal or high class. It's just a restaurant full of steak."

"Oh, okay. I love steak," he smiled warmly. The smile that I fell in-love with.

"Six pm, then. See you later," I said kindly and with that, I waved at him goodbye. As I turned around, I saw Jungkook standing in front of my door.
