Old Meteli

Laurence's POV

We ride are horses over the bridge then i see Meteli my once home. Now decaded. I just off my horse and stand in front of the steps where my once adpotive father Haden's grave was. I get one both my knees and pray. Katelyn and Aphmau walk up to me with there horses. Aphmau puts her hand on my shoulder.
"Come on Laurence... We should go..." Katelyn says. I stand up and look down at the grave. Aphmau takes the horses up the hill. "Laurence come on..." Katelyn says again. Outing her hand on my shoulder. I nod we turn around and walk over the hill. We reach the top Aphmau tied up the horses.
"That was quick." I says. She looks up at us and nods. I look at Katelyn we walk down.
"How much further do you think we need to go?" Katelyn asks. They both look at me.
"It mite take another day or so." I say. Katelyn groans.
"What's wrong Kately-?" I hear horse foot steps. We all go quiet. Someone comes up the hill we came up on are horses. I look up and see Cadenza.
"Cadenza?" I say. I walk out from what I was hiding behind and walk in the middle of the path.
"Cadenza hey!" I shout and run up to her she jumps off her horse and hugs me.
"Did you see Haden's grave?" she asks. I look at her and nod.
"Im sorry Laurence." she says. I hear footsteps and let go.
"Hey Cadenza." Aphmau says. Cadenza looks at Aphmau and smiles. She looks at Katelyn. Her smile fades.
"You..." Cadenza says. Cadenza runs at Katelyn. Katelyn runs at Cadenza. Cadenza holds her sword to Katelyn's neck. Katelyn has her claw thing at her stomach.
"Well isn't it the coward I met that burnt my home to the ground.. Your crew of Jury of Nine think you can do what you want.. Well you don't burn someone's home to the ground." Cadenza says getting in Katelyn's face.
"I didn't do that I have resigned from my spot. If I were you I would take the sword away from my neck I don't take kindly to those people." Katelyn says tense. I look at Aphmau. Aphmau looks at me.
"I would rather rip you to shreds kill you for what your slaves did to my home." Cadenza puts the sword rate on Katelyn's neck.
"Enough! Cadenza, Katelyn is my friend don't kill her! It won't resolve any of your problems! Just take the sword away Katelyn is a good person." Aphmau shouts. Cadenza gets up in Katelyn's face.
"Fine..." She takes her sword away. "Only this time. Next time off with your head." Cadenza says. She drops Katelyn I run over and help her up.
"Ok now that. That's over how far until new Meteli?" Aphmau asks. I take Katelyn over to her horses and put her on it.
"You ok?" I whisper. She nods.
"No time for questions we must move." I say. Cadenza and Aphmau nod. We hop on are horses Cadenza leads the way I have Katelyn's horse follow mine as we go.

Dante's POV

"So what do we do with him?" I ask. Garroth starring at the passed out Zane. He shakes his head.
"Go get Zoey for me. You can tell her that she take down the barrier and the lady's can go home." He explains. I think of the note Cadenza gave me.
"Um... Garroth?" I say before walking out the door. He turns to me.
"Yeah?" he asks. I stop.
"Uh... Nevermind.." I stutter.
"Ok Dante if you have something to tell me say. Now isn't the time to be messing around." He says. I nod and walk out. I walk towards the house. I get to the door and knock.
"Who is it?" I hear someone yell.
"Um... Zoey it's Dante please let me in." she walks down the steps and opens the door.
"Come in and sit down." she says. I hear kids playing and lady's talking in the basement.
"Garroth said you can take down the barrier here Garroth needs you at the guard station and the lady's can go home." she nods.
"I'll head there now you can tell the others they can go home." she gets up and walks out. I get up and walk down into the basement.
"Um... Lady's you can all head home now ill be escorting you all." I say. They nod and get there kids.
"Um... Dante?" Lucinda asks. I walk to her.
"I'm going to stay and put Levin and Malachi to bed." I nod. Molly, Kawaii~chan, Kiki, and Emma follow me. We reach Molly's home.
"Good night Molly. You too Alexis." I wave by to them.
"We can walk over to the barn thanks Dante." Kiki says. She takes Leona and goes. I was left with Kawaii~chan and Nekoette. We walk to are home I stop in front of the door Nekoette runs inside.
"Dante~kun what's going on?" She asks. I give her a hug.
"It's best if I don't tell you." I say.
"Ok Dante~kun Kawaii~chan will be making dinner." she says. I chuckle and watch her go inside.
"Ok now time to go help Garroth." I run to the guard station Zoey doing her magic making a barrier.

"So that should keep him from escaping?" Garroth asks. Zoey nods.
"That should keep him out but have someone stay watch incase." me and Garroth both nod.
"Ok Zoey you may head back. Lucinda is putting the kids to bed." I say. She nods and walks away.
"I'll take first watch Dante you go home to you family." he says. I nod.
"Thanks Garroth." I say and walk home.
