The Cat

Aphmau's POV

I follow the girl behind the house. She had a tiny little pashter horses walk around in it.
"Take as many as you need. Nya~" she says looking at me. I grin at her. Take a breathe and ask.
"Why are you helping us? I mean we just meet in the most ironic way and your being so nice. What's your name? Not to be rude but what's with the Nya~ing?" I ask. She nods and chuckles.
"One im a nice person." I interrupt her.
"Cat.." I say she chuckles.
"Im half cat anyway... Two yes we meet weirdly but doesn't mean you can't help. I've heard of you. The Nya~ing thing is normal. For me at least. Nya~" she says. I walk up to a horse and pet it. "My name. Im Michi." she says. I snap my head and face her. What?
"How do you know who I am." I ask my voice scared. Trying not to show it.
"Oh i've heard from Meteli new to be exact. Scaleswind. Okasis especially. Nya~" she says. I nod.
"Well i'll go get my 'crew' and will be leaving." I say walking past Michi and head back to the boat. They all had their stuff.
"There's horses in the back. I would go get one." I say. Katelyn walks back there so does Vylad. Aaron follows them I stand there as they go.
"You trust her? I wouldn't let your guard down either way." Laurence says. I nod still looking at the back of the house. I start to walk back as the others come back. I grab my bag hop on a horse Katelyn brought.
"Lets go." I say. I look back at Michi she smiled and waved. I turn away from her and start off into the woods the others follow. Laurence staying to the back.

Laurence's POV

Not far after riding we arrive in a huge field with a hill. It also had started to snow. We keep going the sky dark the snow making everything cold and hard to see.
"Lets stop up here! There's a little cave in the bottom of the hill!" I call up. Aphmau seems to have already saw it and was heading there already. We stop there I tie my horse in the cave. Katelyn was starting a fire in the front middle. My horse lays down and I lean back. The horse was warm. The fire starts to glow Aphmau, Vylad, and Katelyn gather around it.
"Who gonna take first watch?" Aaron asks.
"I will." Katelyn says. She points to Aphmau. Then Vylad, me, then Aaron.
"Aphmau will go after me then Vylad. Laurence then Aaron." Katelyn says. I nod and grab some food out of my bag and eat. Aaron had already started to turn in for the night so did Vylad. I lay back on my horse and slowly pass out.

+-5 hours later-+

I wake Vylad was tapping me. I look at him.
"Your turn. The snow is coming down really hard." he whispers. I nod grab my sword and walk to the front of the cave. I sit and watch. Daydreaming or nightdreaming I don't know I just started to doze off. Then something catches my eye. I hear the crunching of snow as something... It sounded like it was walking.
"Guys!" I say. I have my sword ready.
"What Laurence?" Vylad asks me he sounded tired.
"Get your weapon and get over here." I say whispering loud enough for him to hear. He grabs his sword and joins me. The crunching of snow stops I hear growls. Sending shivers up my spine.
"What was that?" Aaron asks. The growls turn into snarls.
"Werewolfs..." Katelyn says. I saw Aphmau get up out of the corner of my eye. We all gather in front of the cave. We ended up moving are horses in so they were safe. I slowly walk out. The growls and snarls stop. I have my sword ready. I turn to face them fear appears.
"Laurence wa-" Aphmau's yell gets cuts off by a werewolf. It tackles my from behind and starts biting my arm. I scream in the pain. I quickly stab it and get up. I made sure it was dead. The others were getting attacked. I run over and help kill them. I turn back around holding my arm. More were gathering around.
"Vylad..." I whisper. He turns to me.
"Yes?" he asks. Staring at the Werewolfs.
"Do you know how to turn into your shadow night form?" I ask.
"Now isn't the time Laurence." Katelyn says. I look at Vylad he nods.
"Do it..." I say. He changes. I change into my shadow knight form. The were wolfs charge at us. Me and Vylad run at them and kill them or push them away. One had tackled Aphmau and was biting her arm she screamed. I ran over and threw it off her. Then kill it. The growls stop they all were dead. I turn normal and claps next to her. She was crying she had a huge bite mark in her arm she was bleeding badly.
"Guys find something we can use to help her." I say. They run back in the cave and look. I wipe her tears. Katelyn comes running over with a cloth. I take it and tie it on her arm. She yells in pain. I secure it. It turns red in place's.
"We need to head to Scaleswind. They can help her." I say. Katelyn nods. "Someone take her horse she's riding with me." I say. Katelyn goes and grabs Aphmau's horse. She tells it something then it starts following. I wave my horse over he gets up and prances over. He sniffed Aphmau's hair and nudged her. She smiles a little. I help her onto the horses back. Once she was on i hop on she wraps her arms around my waist and holds on.
"You ready?" I whisper. She nods and lays her head on my shoulder. The whole cloth was red.
"Lets go! She's losing a lot of blood!" I call. I get in front of everyone and start heading off they follow.
