A Lost Love (a Larmau fanfiction)

2 Hours Ticking

Laurence's POV

We waited there me, Garroth and Katelyn. Aaron comes out of no where and starts throwing eggs at the guards. They ran the guards ran after them. We walk to the well. Katelyn walks up the ledge and presses the button. We heard nothing. Then Katelyn falls back I hear a splash. We look down and see Katelyn laying in the water she nods up at use. I jump down I hit the water. Katelyn pressed a button as Garroth jumps down.
"You guys watch my back i'll lead.." I whisper. They nod. I lead them we walk around the first bend nothing. I see a light i walk over to it turn the corner I saw Aphmau and Zane. Garroth quickly pulls me back.
"Zane please... Don't do this please... I have a family and people to take care of..." Aphmau says. She starts crying. She was being tied up by ropes that kept her at the tip of her toes. Zane had a arrow pointed at her heart. She had cuts on her arms.
"What did he do to her?" I whisper. "Ok you two attack Zane when I run i'll get Aphmau and run. She needs to get out safe." I whisper they nod.
"Your friends aren't coming.. So i'll be getting rid of you." Zane says. I hear the stretch of the bow. Aphmau cried. I mouth 3, 2, 1. I run to Aphmau. Garroth and Katelyn run at Zane she shots Aphmau leg she screams I pull it out and she screams louder. Katelyn helps me untie Aphmau she falls in my arms. I caught her.
"Garroth Katelyn come on!" I shout. I run to the door at the end of the tunnel. I look over and see guards running at us. Garroth throws open the door I run. They hold them off. I get to the ladder someone screams I look back and see Katelyn fall. I put Aphmau down she groans. I climb the ladder and throw open the hatch. I climb back down and pick up Aphmau and take her to the top.
I get her to the top and prop her up against a tree. She groaned. I pull off my cape and tie it on her wound she screamed a little but bite her lip. She puts her hand on my face I look at her her eyes slowly fade with life.
"You not leaving me.. Not like this.." I say. She smiles a little.
"Laurence I love you but... I... I..." she stops. The life leaves her eyes.
"Aphmau? Aphmau!" I shout. Katelyn and Garroth climb up the ladder. Well Garroth carried Katelyn.
"Aphmau! Aphmau! No come back!" I shout. Garroth runs toward the village. Aphmau's hand falls. I pick her up and run after Garroth.
"You will be ok.." I whisper to her.
