Calm Day

Laurence's POV

I wake up Aphmau lays sound asleep on my chest. She moved on top of me in her sleep. I slowly slide her off and lay her in the bed. I get up and walk to Dante he was awake staring off in the distance.
"Dante? Are you ok?" he nods.
"Can you walk?" he nods. I help him up he gets up slowly. He groans in pain once he was fully standing up.
"Do you think you can walk?" he nods. I help him walk a little. After him limping he was walking normal again.
"Do you think you can patrol today?" I ask. He nods.
"Ok... Go stand watch at the guard station don't go by the walls until your fully healed. Got it?" he nods and walks to the ladder. He climbs down. I look over Aphmau awake fully. She waves me over.
"Can you help me up?" she asks. I nod and help her stand she gets fully standing her legs numb she falls into me arms. I catch her. I pull her up she groans a little.
"Can you walk?" I ask. She nods. She walks a little wobbling. She starts to fall I run and catch her. She looks at me. I look at her.
"Let's see if you can walk around the village sounds good?" I ask. She shakes her head.
"Let me try to walk here until I can without pain." I nod. She goes back to standing and walks in circles. She fell a few times but I caught her.

Soon later she is walking fully again.
"You ready now?" I ask her. She turns around she nods.
"Need help down the ladder?" I ask. She thinks.
"Sure..." I walk to the ladder and go down a little she climbs down i stay close. I reach the bottom.
"Catch me.." she says. She falls back I catch her like a bride. She looked dizzy I don't know why.
"You ok?" I ask she nods. I put her down.
"Follow me." I say. She follows me. We walk to the plaza I find Zoey there with streamers.
"What are you doing Zoey?" I ask. She jumps and turns around.
"Oh my Irene Laurence you scared me. We were going to have a celebration!" she says excited. I grin Aphmau does the same.
"Why exactly?" I ask. She looks at me surprised. She pulls me over away from Aphmau.
"Because its Irene's birthday. Wich means its also Aphmau's birthday since she's a descendant of Irene." she says. I become surprised I forgot she was a descendant.. I nod and walk back to Aphmau.
"The party is later tonight.. Around 9." she calls as we walk away. I wave back by.

I walk her home. We stop at had door.
"I'll come and get you leader for the party. Sounds good?" she nods. I turn and walk away. She grabs my earn stopping me.
"Thank you..." she says. I nod and walk away.

Aphmau's POV

I watch Laurence walk away. I have to admit it I did love him. But I didn't now how Garroth would take it. I close the door and walk to my room. I look at clothes to wear I didn't know what to wear. A while later I chose the white short dress with the purple tie. The dress went down to my thighs. I walk down the steps and grab some food. I close the cabinet grab some my sandwich and sit at the table. I hear kids cheering downstairs. I get up and go down the steps. Aaron playing with the kids.
"Aaron? What are you doing?" I ask him. He looks up and walks over to me.
"Everyone was busy and no line could watch the kids so I came and watched them. Everyone is mostly helping with the celebration." he says. I nod and look at the kids.
"You look nice.." he says. I look at him.
"What?" I ask. He shakes his head.
"Nevermind. Go have fun its starts soon. Im going to watch these kids." he says. I nod turn around and walk upstairs. I sit on my bed and wait.
