Laurence's POV

I walk to Aphmau's house to apologize. I get to the door a note was taped to the door. It said.
Dear Laurence,
I saw you kiss Sasha. That broke my heart so Im leaving tonight. Im probably gone by the time you read this but. Im leavening for the Nether Sasha doesn't have to come Im leaving. I loved you. I thought you loved me... Guess I thought wrong.
My heart stops. I-i never meant to... It just happened... I think. I kept reading the last 3 sentences. I read it over and over again. I look toward Bright Port. Then I think maybe Garroth saw something. I put the note in my pocket and walk toward the guard tower. I get there and climb the ladder.
"Garroth! Last night did you see Aphmau leave?" he turns toward me then nods.
"Yes I did..." he says. I become mad.
"Why didn't you tell me anything?!" I shout. He stares at me Dante climbs up the ladder.
"Laurence you were busy.. As head guard I gave you that spot I can take it from you." Garroth says. I make a fist.
"What's going on here?" Dante asks. Garroth trys to speak but I interrupt.
"Aphmau is gone before of my stupid acts. She could die! I shouldn't have kissed Sasha!" I shout. Dante stares at me so does Garroth.
"You kissed Sasha? I though you loved Aphmau?" Garroth says.
"I do just... I wasn't thinking Aphmau must have saw and she's gone because of my stupid actions." I say. Dante interrupts.
"She can take care of herself." Dante says. I sigh.
"I know but if she dies it's my fault." I say. Dante shakes his head.
"It wouldn't be your fault" Garroth says. I shake my head and climb down the ladder and walk away.

Aphmau's POV

"What do we do now?" I ask Sasha. We were back in the Nether Gene had beaten me up when we first went threw. My arm was bruised.
"Well first you must bring down his hopes of getting to the over world." she says.
"When and how do we do that?" I ask. She shh's me. Gene walks up the steps. He opens the door walks in and grabs me and pulls me out. Sasha runs after me. I kick at him he does nothing. He drags me down the steps.
"What the hell are you doing?!" I shout. He laughs. He throws me at the table. I hit the table I knife goes threw my side I scream.
"Suck it up." Sasha says. I look at her she nodded at me. I know why she said that.
"Now your powers how do you work them?" Gene says. I laugh.
"What makes you think i'll tell you?" I say. He looks at Sasha she nods. She grabs her sword and walks over and holds it to my neck.
"You aren't scaring me..." I say. His face goes blank. "You have better." I say. He laughs. He walks over at punches me in the stomach. I fall on my knees. He picks me up and throws me at the wall. Sasha stares at me. Gene kicks me in the stomach.
"You can't kill me... If you kill me you die... There's no way you can easily take over the world when you have so many villages so many alliances so many ways to fail." I say laughing weakly. He kicks me again. His smile fades. I could feel his power drain a little.
"You stand no change... Especially with Zenix..." I laugh in pain. "Dead." I say. He kicks me again and throws me at the wall. I scream as the knife digs deeper into my side I bleed more. Sasha stood there nodding. Gene's power drains alot more.
"Sasha take her back to her cell." he says. I whez as I breathe. Sasha grabs my hand and pulls me so I stand. I fall down more as the knife tenses in my side. She drags me away.
She sits me on the floor in the cell. Everything dizzy. She pulls the knife out of my side I scream she covers my mouth. I bite my lip holding back the tears. She ties something around the wound I flinch in pain.
"You got some of his hope down. Keep doing that. I'll tell you went its fully drained." she says. I nod. "You ok?" I nod weakly.
"Sorry but I had to do that." she says. I nod breathing quickly. She gets up closes the door and walks away. I look over at the cell next to mine. I guy sat there his hair brown wearing green. He stared at me.
"What happened to you?" the guy asks. I sit up agents the wall.
"Im just here to take down Gene.." I say he nods.
"Why are you here?" I ask. He chuckles.
"I've been taken prisoner the past month or 2. I saw you escape. When you escape could you take me with?" he asks. I stare. He looked familiar.
"Who are you?" I ask. He chuckles and faces me.
"Im Vylad... Your Aphmau the lord of Phoenix Drop." he says. I stare.
"How do you know who I am?" I ask. He smiles.
"I've been watching over your village close. My brother Garroth stays there. I was the person who left a baby at your door step." then it clicks in my head.
"Y-you left Levin? Your Garroth and Zanes brother?" I stutter he nods.
"Yes I did. Yes I am im the younger half brother of Garroth and Zanes. Well Garroth threaded me like a brother well Zane just didn't.." he says. I nod. "We can leave together." he says. I nod then think of Laurence. I think about how he saved me from here my heart breaks.
"You ok?" he asks. I nod.
"Y-yeah just dizzy. You saw what happened?" he nods.
"Im afraid I did." he says. I nod.
"Well im going to crash for the night. Get some sleep too you've been threw alot today." he says. I nod and crawl toward the bed. I pull the covers over me and stare at the wall. I slowly fall asleep.
