Laurence's POV

Not long after riding Aphmau passed out from blood loss. But as I try to wake her up we arrive in Scaleswind. Nicole had left Phoenix Drop to be lord here. She walks up to us.
"Laurence! W-what happened to Aphmau?" she asks. I grab Aphmau and climb off the horse.
"Werewolfs, blood loss." Aaron says. Nicole nods.
"Jackson! Get out here!" Nicole calls. A guy dressed in guard armor and had a blue scarf walks out.
"Yes?" he asks. I look down at Aphmau she was passed out.
"Take her to the village doctor. She isn't ok." Nicole says. He walks up to me and try's to take Aphmau. I back away. I couldn't let anyone hurt her. Nicole stares. "Show them to the doctors. Let him carry her." Nicole says. Jackson nods and waves for me to follow. Thank you. I mouth to her she smiles and turns to the others. I follow Jackson. He takes us to a hunt that had a doctors sign on it. We walk in a guy sat at a desk. He had brown hair shaved at the sides then flipped at the top. He wore gray and had gloves.
"James, please help this lady." Jackson says. The guy nods and motions me to follow him. Jackson walks out. The man takes us to a back room that had medicine and other medical stuff in it. There was a table and chair in the middle.
"Please put her here." I do as he says i set her down. He checks her pulse and checks other stuff.
"What happened?" he asks continuing with Aphmau.
"We were attacked by werewolfs on are way here. One bit her arm up pretty good." I say he nods.
"She needs some fluids and blood then some stitches." he says. He grabs something and takes the wrap off her injured arm. "What's your name? Hers too." he says. I nod.
"Im Laurence. This is Aphmau." I say. He nods then stops what he's doing and looks at me. I grin at him confused.
"Wait LORD Aphmau?" his asks. I nod yes. "So this is who Nicoles been talking about." he whispers.
"She talks about her?" I ask. He nods.
"She talks about how she saved her life and fought for her village." he says I smile and nod.
"She's really a nice person. But what's your name?" I ask. He looks at me and smiles.
"James." he says. I nod. He puts some stitches in her arm. Then stops her arm looked fixed up. He wiped some of the blood off her arm.
"Ok she should be fine. Just be careful with the stitches. They can come out in a week or two; if it doesn't look better by the end of the week then wait another two." he says. I nod. Aphmau slowly wakes up I walk over to her. James leans over her.
"You ok miss?" he asks. She nods slowly. He checks her eyes then helps her sit up.
"What happened?" Aphmau asks. I was about to explain, and James jumps in.
"Blood lose. Do you remember anything?" he asks. She nods.
"I remember getting attacked by a werewolf then passing out on the way here. Then woke up here." she says. James nods.
"She's in perfect condition." he says. I nod and help Aphmau up. We walk out of the building.
"You ok?" I ask. She nods and looks at her arm. "Don't mess with it." I say. She nods and smiles. We walk up to Nicole. She gives Aphmau a hug.
"You guys can stay in the hotel over there. The others are there waiting." Nicole says smiling. I smile so does Aphmau.
"What's the problem here we got the message." Aphmau says. Nicole sighs.
"Well we took care of Zane but have a worst problem. Shadow souls." she says. I turn slowly to Aphmau. Nicole grins at us.
"Uh... Is something wrong?" Nicole asks. I look at Aphmau she starts shaking. I shake my head.
"Were ok." I say. Nicole nods and walks away. I take Aphmau hand and lead her to the hotel. Her hand shook. We walk in i ask the man where the others were he said upstairs. Katelyn, Vylad and Aaron sat on a couch and chairs we walk up to them.
"Strong one." Aaron says. Aphmau snickers and sits I stand.
"Why are we here exactly?" Vylad asks.
"Well they fixed the Zane problem but.. They have a worst problem with shadow souls." I say. Katelyn nods.
"Well what do we-" Katelyn gets cut off by a sudden scream. I get up and look out the window. So does everyone else. Jackson and others were gathered around someone. I go down the steps and run over to the hord of people. It was Nicole.
"She just fell from the porch!" someone says. I look up someone stood there looking down. They made eye contact with me. They jump down off the ledge and run. I get up and run after them Aaron following. The girl runs down an alley. We corner her.
"Great..." she says.
"Look at us!" I shout she laughs. I look at Aaron. He stares at the girl. She turns around.
"Fine..." she says. She had a scarf over her mouth hiding a smile. She held a hand behind her back.
"Drop what your holding..." Aaron says. She holds her hand up. She held something it was beeping.
"I would run if were you..." she says laughing. I grin at her.
"Laurence that's a-" Aaron words get cut as the girl throws what she was holding on the ground. Smoke comes out if it. Aaron turn around and ran. I stood there staring at the girl.
"Laurence get out of-!'' his scream get cuts off by a huge screech. Then the ball explodes. I get blasted back and I hit a wall. The air blown out of me I fall.
