Notes: ghosts are killed by water, and they can possess materials. Cole is still a ghost. Kai can't swim. Nya didn't bring Jay on the mission to find Morro.
Nya: I hate water
Jay: why?
Jay: what happened?
Jay: where is everyone, anyway?
Nya: we were on a mission.
Nya: now we're on a beach.
Jay: why were you all on a mission without me? 😠 and you're at the BEACH? Way to leave me out!
Nya: Jay
Nya: Kai is gone.
Jay: wait
Jay: what?
Jay: gone?
Jay: where did Kai go? What do you mean?
Nya: you know what I mean.
Jay: is your brother
Jay: ...
Jay: is Kai dead?
Nya: I could save him or Cole. The ship was going down. Kai was falling. The water was about to touch Cole. I thought I could save both of them. I couldn't.
Jay: OHMYGOD
Jay: ....
Jay: Kai!
Jay: 😱😵😫
Jay: 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Jay: HOW?!?!?!?!?!?!??!
Nya: We were on R.E.X. going to find Morro.
Jay: MORRO IS BACK?!?!
Jay: JEEZ LOUISE YOU VISIT YOUR PARENTS FOR ONE DAY AND MISS SO MUCH!
Nya: Ronin was with us, piloting R.E.X. Everything was fine until we got over the ocean.
Nya: then the engine stopped working.
Nya: the ship fell. Kai was blown off by a strong gust of wind. I was about to catch hold of him but then I saw Cole about to fall into the water. I made a decision and saved Cole.
Nya: Zane froze the ocean directly below us so we were okay. We looked everywhere for Kai , we really did. I even used the tracking signal on his phone but it was disconnected.
Jay: so Kai drowned?
Nya: we didn't see him anywhere.
Jay: ........
Jay: I don't know what to say
Jay: you must feel horrible
Nya: I don't feel anything
Jay: Nya, there was nothing you could do to stop this. It was an accident!
Nya: NO, IT WASNT!
Jay: what do you mean?
Nya: just before the surface of the ship hit the water, I saw something green and glowing coming out of the engine.
Nya: a ghost.
Nya: it was Morro.
Jay: WHAT?
Nya: Morro possessed the engine.
Nya: Morro sunk the ship.
Nya: Morro killed my brother.
Nya: I want to kill Morro.
Jay: Nya, I know you're upset, but you need to look at this more rationally! Are you even sure it was Morro in that engine?
Nya: I KNOW WHAT I SAW!!!
Jay: I'm sorry. If this happened to me, I know I'd be devastated.
Nya: I'm not devastated. I'm angry.
Nya: I'm angry at myself, for not saving my brother.
Nya: I'm angry at that STUPID BLEEPING GHOST COLE BROOKSTONE!
Nya: I could have saved Kai, but no, there was Cole, looking at me all helpless like he needed me to save him and I couldn't say no!
Nya: I wish I'd let him sink with the ship.
Nya: and then there's Morro.
Nya: THAT LITTLE BLEEP IS GOING TO BLEEPING DIE IF ITS THE LAST BLEEPING THING I DO!
Nya: THEY CAN ALL DIE! EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM BEFORE KAI!!!
Jay: Nya. I'm sorry for your loss. But you can't let yourself turn to violence when faced with a tragedy like this! It will only end with more people getting hurt!
Nya: YOU KEEP SAYING YOURE SORRY BUT SORRY WONT CUT IT. SORRY WONT MAKE ME FEEL BETTER AFTER MY BROTHER DIED!
Nya: get us off this beach, Jay.
Nya: I'm going to find Kai.
Jay: but Nya...he's...you know
Nya: Kai can't be dead. It's impossible. He can't!
Jay: acceptance is the first step to recovery

Nya: come and bring the deepstone stuff while you're at it.

Nya: I am going to make Cole wish he had never been born, that bleeping piece of bleep. And after I've finished with him, I am going to track down Morro and do to him what he did to Stiix.
Jay: Nya, I hope you know that even if Kai is dead, his spirit still lives on within you.
Nya: he isn't dead.

Zane: I have good news and bad news for you.
Lloyd: TELL ME!
Zane: The good news is that we have managed to locate Kai.
Lloyd: you have him?
Zane: Yes.
Lloyd: and the bad news?
Zane: The bad news is that his lungs are almost completely full of water.
Lloyd: no
Zane: I regret to inform you that his heart has stopped.
Lloyd: No
Zane: I am sorry, Lloyd.

Lloyd: you're lying!
Lloyd: You have to be!
Zane: My programming makes it impossible for me to lie.
Lloyd: NO
Lloyd: MORRO.

Lloyd: HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?
M: Let's see. I possessed the engine. I made the ship go down. I used wind to blow Kai away from the others so they couldn't save him. I took Kai's phone so they couldn't track him.
Lloyd: the joke's on you cause they found him.
M: drowned
M: to be honest, I do feel bad for Kai. He seems to have had a hard life. Parents both killed, legal guardian of his sister by age fourteen, struggling with depression and alcohol.
M: until I remember me.
M: everything just kind of pales in comparison to my life.
Lloyd: you are horrible.
M: I wouldn't call myself horrible.
Lloyd: you are!
Lloyd: you're nothing but a psychopath with a twisted obsession with power, especially power over me, and a sick need for attention!
M: that's what you think of me?
Lloyd: don't act so surprised.
Lloyd: goodbye, Morro. If you could just die in a hole, that'd be nice.
M: Lloyd-
Lloyd: stay away from me
M: Lloyd, I didn't want to hurt you-
Lloyd: "didn't want to hurt me"? You should have thought of that before you killed the first person who truly loved me!
M: I was trying to help you!
Lloyd: help me cry until I have no more tears? Help me lose my best friend and the love of my life? Help me want to die?
M: Lloyd, I didn't-
M: I didn't know it would kill him.
Lloyd: you said he was going to die!
M: I was trying to scare you! I never meant for it to go so far!
Lloyd: that's what they all say
Lloyd: You know, Morro, I have a problem.
M: That Kai is dead?
Lloyd: no.
Lloyd: I'm only attracted to impulsive, angry bad boys who do dangerous things with no regard for consequences.
M: are you...
Lloyd: I hate you, Morro.
Lloyd: I hate that I still like you.

Zane: I have good news.
Lloyd: no you don't.
Zane: Kai is alive.
Lloyd: HOW?
Zane: Jay arrived and calmed Nya enough that she was able to use her powers to suck the water from Kai's lungs. Jay restarted his heart with a shock.
Lloyd: Kai is alive?
Lloyd: KAI IS ALIVE!!!!
Zane: He's having to be pumped oxygen through a tube, but my scans show that Kai will survive.
Lloyd: ZANE I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER FOR TELLING ME THAT KAI IS ALIVE!!!!
Lloyd: now I am getting my dragon and coming there.

Kai: I'm sorry.
Kai: I will change for you.

Lloyd: Morro?

Lloyd: I thought Morro took your phone!
Kai: weird cause when I woke up it was there next to me.
Lloyd: 😕 huh
Lloyd: HOW ARE YOU?
Kai: meh I've been better
Lloyd: 😒 obviously
Kai: oh, Lloyd. I want you to be here so bad.
Lloyd: I'm coming! And I'm bringing my emergency candy stash! I usually save it for my emergencies but I figure since you got drowned today you deserve to have some.
Kai: ...
Kai: Lloyd, you are the best boyfriend anyone could ask for.
Lloyd: I don't know about that...😊
Kai: really! I just want you to know that whatever happens, I love you. 💚
Lloyd: I love you too, Kai. ❤️

Lloyd: I'm not saying that!
Lloyd: but minds can be changed.
Lloyd: by the way, thanks for retuning Kai's phone.
Lloyd: but I got your texts before
M: and?
Lloyd: and what?
M: what do you think?
Lloyd: I think you are the most confusing person I've ever met and I wish you'd stayed dead.
M: ...

Lloyd: I said a lot of things earlier.
M: that you still like me...

Lloyd: 😶

Are you glad Kai survived? Does the story make sense? (It's hard to write only through texts).

Next update will be another continuation of I Have Problems but after that it's back to Morro Returns (my current name for this storyline until I think of something better).
