I make my way to Aria's. I was running a lot today. More than I have in awhile. I get to the door, slightly winded because I'm confused and crying. Jacob opens up hugs me. I hug back and walk to Aria. I sit next to her on the couch.
"The picture is gone." I say quietly.
"I don't understand." She says and stares at me confused.
"The picture. The picture Ashton made! The one he gave me for our anniversary. That picture!" I shout and bend over to my knees.
It hurts. Everything hurts. My heart hurts. My head hurts. My legs hurt from running. Everything hurts because of him.
I feel Aria wrap an arm around me, but I don't sit up. She hugs my crouched over body as much as she can.
"I have to make a call." I say and stand.
"Don't call him." She says.
"I'm calling my Aunt Mary." I say and walk out the door.
"Hello?" She answers.
"Hi." I croak.
"What's this about Rachel? What happened? Are you hurt?"
"You remember that boy?"
"You didn't do something stupid for him, did you?"
"No. Remember how I said we split up for awhile, only for little while?"
"It's not going to be a little is it?"
"No." I say and I continue crying.
"Maybe you should come here for a little while. Take a few days. I have something to tell you. You have to be with me when I do." She says.
"Alright. I will." I say.
"Good. You can come tomorrow night. I see tickets to fly to Bradley International from where you are. So, you can leave Sunday and go back to work Wednesday." She says.
"Yeah. Sounds fine." I say.
"Alright. Bye dear." She says and the line clicks.
I walk back into the apartment and Aria looks at me, worried. Jacob had the same look. I gave a weak smile that made them frown. I shrugged my shoulders and Aria spoke.
"So, what's going on?" She asked.
"I'm going to see my Aunt Mary tomorrow. I'll be back Wednesday. I just need a few days." I say.
"You better come back." She says and hugs me tight. I feel another pair of arms wrap around me. Jacob.
"Alright. I'm going to go pack. Love you guys." I say and head to the door.
"Love you too!" They shout in unison.
