A 2 mile long Beach. 30 seats. Waves crashing against the shore. Sun blaring down on her. And the man who ticked all of her boxes looking at her from the other end of the Isle.
Step by step. Closer and closer.
The ring slipping into both hers and his fingers perfectly.
"I now pronounce you man and wife... You may kiss the bride"
They had finally done it! After months of waiting and waiting, after months of will they? Won't they? They were finally married.
Mr and Mrs Masters!
Jacob picked up Connie brideal style and ran with her down to the water and through it. He dunked her in to the cool water then wrapped she wrapped her legs round his waist and kissed him where everyone could see.
Everyone else ran into the water to celebrate with them as they were haveing the reception down on the beach!
Everyone was jumping up and down to the music in the clear blue water haveing the time off their lives!
Grace Connie and Jacob weren't going to forget this night in a hurry.
Jacob was mingling and talking to some of the guests next to the fire with a beer in his hand. Connie went over to her clutch bag, that surprisingly didnt match her shorts and top, and took out her phone as it wass ringing
"Hello?...Clary?... I can't I'm in hawii I have just gotten married and I am down on the beach have the reception!.... Shit are you... I'm in Haleiwa... Oh my flipping god!... Yes there is a fire and there are abpout 5 Gazebo's... I'll see you in a minute then!" Connie put the phone down just as jacob came over.
"You will see who in a minute?" He asked while sipping his beer.
Connie sat down in the sand "Jacob that was my sister on the phone... Look long story short... She faked her own death because her boyfriend abused her and to make him surreneder to the police they had to make him think that he killed her!... I was the only one who knew."
Jacob sat down beside her. "How long have you been out of touch?"
"I havent seen her for 2 years.. Grace obviously met her when she was younger so I had to lie to her about clary"
All of a sudden in mid sentence Connie felt a tap on her shoulder.
"Connie?"
"Oh my god Clary?" Connie jumped up and hugged her sister.
"Wait what?" Said Jacob looking at both of them.
"Oh did I forget the part where we are identical twin sisters that sound exactly the same!" Said Connie with a laugh looking at her husband's face.
"You could of given me a bit of a warning first!" Said Jacob with a smile.
"What are we beauchump's like eh Connie?" Said Clary as they both burst out laughing
"Everyone thought that 2 Connie's was enough but now three... I don't know how we will all cope with all the sassyness!" Said jacob with a smile.
"Well believe it or both honey I was actually the adventous one when we were kids... You know going rifle shooting with dad... Rock climbing... Climbing trees!" Said Connie
"Ok I think I might just faint" said Jacob while shaking his head.
"So Connie I remeber you getting a divorce with micheal but did you say that today was your wedding day when we spoke down the phone?!" Asked Clary.
"Yeah it is. I would have told you but I honestly didn't know whether you were dead or alive... Speaking of dead or alive hun can you go and get grace for me please? She would want to see Clary. " she asked him
"Yeah that's fine sweet cheeks" he kissed her cheek then went off down the beach to get grace who was haveing a great time with Zoe and Robyn .
"Wait hang on a minute Mrs... That's your new husband?" Asked Clary with an astonished face.
"Yep he is. Although he did have to put up with a bit of a fight when we first met if you know what i mean?!"
"Oh god yeah! I bet he did!" Said Clary as the both started laughing again.
"Mum daddy said you wanted to see me?" Said grace as she came bounding up the beach.
"Yes Gracie! Do you remeber aunty Clary?"
"Yes I do. She was your big sister. She was my favourite aunty ever and I do miss her" said grace in a sad voice recalling back her aunts "death".
" OK well this is going to be a big shock for you. I told a lie when aunty Clary died because she didn't actually die. She is still alive. She was trying to protect me and you so she had to fake her death. I am really sorry Gracie that I lied to you"
"Mum why are you telling me now?"
Connie moved to the side and let grace see who was stood behind her.
"AUNTY CLARY!!!!!!!" grace screamed. She ran up to her aunt and hugged her.
"Hello Gracie. Aww I have missed you so much!" She said while hugging the little girl back and smileing.
"I have missed you to"
Jacob came up behind Connie and pulled her to him by the waist and kissed her cheek while watching grace and Clary. "Are you going to tell everybody?" He asked.
"Yeah lets do it now!" She said with a smile and kissed his lips softly before parting to gather everybody.
Once everyone gathered Connie started to speak.
"Ok so this will come as a big shock for you all but I do need to tell you all as you lot are my second family at the ED... I have a sister... A twin sister in fact who had to fake her death 2 years ago to protect me and grace from her abusive boyfriend... Now that he has been caught by the police she has tracked me down to meet up again.. She called me about half an hour ago now to ask if I was in holby next week... Obviously I said no as I am her with you lot on my honeymoon.. But she is also in hawii... So everyone I would like you to meet my twin sister.. Clary."
Connie once again moved to one side to let her sister be seen by the others.
Everyone gasped then Clary started to speak.
"Hello everyone.. I understand if this is a very uncomfortable situation right now and if you want me to leave then I will... But me and con have a strong relationship between us that I would like to build up again as I haven't seen her for 2 years"
Zoe suddenly stepped out of the crowd. "Clary we would never want you to leave we understand! We get a lot of cases in the ED asking us to fake their deaths just to get away from people!... And anyone who is a family member to any of the ED staff is a part of the ED family.. So welcome to the ED family."
Everyone appluded then some people!e went to talk to Clary some wwent to Connie and some just carried on partying.
The music got turned up loader then before and everyone was suddenly in front of the speakers partying like they had never partyed before. Connie and Clary were dancing together with grace. Just like to good old days when it was just those three.
They never wanted the night to end!!!!
