"You should have known better Connie.... But now its to late ... And your the one paying.."
Connie woke sat bolt up right and gasped and held her breath until she was sure she knew where she was. She let out the breath and raked her hand through her hair and put it up.
She looked over a Jacobs side of the bed. He wasn't there. Then she heard the toilet flush and saw him walk back into the room.
"Hey what's up sorry did I wake you?" He said in a whisper.
"No no its fine don't worry I have just remembered I have to do something" said Connie getting out of bed.
"What at 5:30 in the morning?"
"Yeah I'll be right back"
Connie went out the door and down the stairs. She sat at her breakfast bar with her head in her hands, think over the dream she just had. Suddenly someone came up behind her and put there arms round her waist and started kissing her neck. She put her head back and closed her eyes.
But one the back of her eye lid was cal printed he was the one getting revenge on Connie. She gasped again opened her eyes and pulled her head forward nearly head butting Jacob.
"Connie are you ok?"
" yeah yeah I'm fine just bad dreams! Sorry"
"It's fine" said Jacob with a smile. Suddenly there was a scream. Grace!!
Connie and Jacob went bolting up the stairs and burst into graces room. She was sat up in bed with tears down her face. Connie went over and gave her a hug and grace cried for a good 5 minutes with Connie one side of her and Jacob the other with Connie stoking her hair trying to sooth her.
"Ok grace listen too me its fine OK he's gone its done" said Connie trying to smile. She knew exactly what bad dream grace had!
"Connie what's going on?" Said Jacob with a lot of confusion!
Connie stood up and pulled the left side of her T-shirt up so Jacob could see. Whip marks.
"Connie you need to explain now!!"
"When I was dating cal he started to control me and if I refused he would whip me in front of grace that's why grace has night mares to!" Said Connie her wavering and her eyes filling up with tears.
Jacob got up and hugged the 2 of them and said he would protect them from anything!
Because it was only 5:45 they all went into Connie's room and slept in there so if grace had anymore night mares they would be there. But Jacob didn't t sleep he was wide awake and thinking of the things he could do to cal.
10:00 am
Jacob woke to the sound of Connie's alarm. He rolled over to see the 2 females snuggled up together and then grace started to stir and wake up which cause Connie to wake. Jacob turned the alarm off and turned to face Connie smiling.
"Morning sweet cheeks"
Connie giggled and started to sit up.
"Right work again today" she said while stretching.
Grace grunted and rolled over to see if she could get away with going back to sleep but Connie just tickled her until they were all in fits of laughter.
"Look I know its Sunday Missy but you have to get up to" said Connie with a smile.
Grace slowly got up and went into her room to get ready while Connie and Jacob snuggled up and had kissing event with Jacob saying repeatedly
"How the hell do you look this good in the morning?"
When they heard grave turn on no angels downstairs they thought they'd better get ready for the day ahead.
When Connie was curling her hair Jacob am up behind her and kissed her on the cheek before saying
"I'm really sorry"
Connie set her curlers down and turned them off as she was finished and turned round too face him
"What for?"
"Everything he did to you" Jacob now had his hands round her waist and Connie had her arms round his neck
"Look 1. You had nothing to do with it 2. It's been delt with 3. I don't want to talk about it ever again and lastly 4. Don't do anything stupid we will all regret cos trust me if you do we are done got it?!"
"I think so sweet cheeks" said Jacob smileing. He picked Connie up so she was ikn his hips then kissed her before she pulled away and said "just hold me... Please?"
They both stood there for a couple of minutes before going down the stairs to sit with grace and eat breakfast.
When they were in the kitchen Connie put some bread in the toaster "you know what I really want to do?" She said to Jacob.
"Spend the day with me in bed?"
"Nice try but no.. I would love to be oin master chef... But I can burn toast so not really for me" said Connie laughing with Jacob. They both hugged and Connie said "I love you Jacob... Always rember that!"
"I will and I love you to Connie" suddenly the toast popped up with what looked like charcole "ahh I see what you mean by you can burn toast"
Connie and jacob fell into fits of laughter then went to sit down with grace and they just sat down when lia decide to do mouth to mouth and cpr on a rabbit!
A giggling grace snuggled up to connie and carried on watching.
At 11:00 jacob connie an grace drove to the hospital to start the day. As they walked into reception and cal was stood talking to noel. Jacob eyed him then went to the staff room with grace connie did some paper work.
At about 11:30 zoe ran into connies office and said "Oh my god connie staff room now! Jacob!"
Connie sprinted to the staff room and flew open the door to find jacob punching cal. Grace ran over to her mum and practically threw herself at her.
"Zoe take grace to my office"
Connie ran over jacob and pulled him off cal. Charlie went to cal to see what the damage was.
"Forget it charlie! He's a peadofile" said Jacob anger in his vioce. Con ie pulled jacob out of the staff you room and round to her office then asked zoe who was sat on the couch with grace to go and find something fun to do with her. As soon as the door shut jacob started to speak.
"Look I can explain.."
"I don't want to bloody here it! Did you not listen to me this morning I said don't do anything that we will both regret" said connie now screaming at jacob.
"I went to make myself a coffee turned my back on grace for 2 minutes in the staff room and cal walked in and practically jumped on grace I was trying to protect her!"
Connie just fell to the floor tears comeing hard and fast. Jacob crouched down to her level and pulled her into a hug and kissed her head.
"I'm so sorry sweet cheeks! I really am" Connie looked up with tears still running down her face. They both looked at each other in the eye before jacob leaned in and kissed connie and laid her down on the floor with him on top.
Connie pulled away "sorry"
"What for?" Said Jacob brushing the tears away from her eyes
"Screaming at you i just...I... I don't even know anymore! I just crap at everything"
"No your not you are perfect to me and I bet grace would say the same!!! Now you stay here and carry on with the paper work and I'll go find grace ok?"
Connie nodded then both their lips attached together before jacob got up and gave a hand to connie for her to take.
Once they were both of the floor they hugged each other.
"I love you" said connie her vioce wavering a little from crying
"I love you to" then jacob went to go and fetch grace.
