The three girls arrived at zoes at about 6:30.
"Right shall I crack open a bottle?" Asked Zoe looking hopful.
"Yes I am I dire need of one!" Laughed Connie.
"Grace do you want a coke or somthing?"
"Yep please Zoe"
Zoe came in to the living room where Connie and grace were a few minutes with the 3 glasses full of liquid and the bottle of wine a coke.
"Right what are we going to do then?" Asked Connie taking a sip of her drink.
"I know! What about playing Never have I ever?"
"Oh that has to be one of my favourite childhood games that I played with my best mates" said Connie.
The three girls sat there for an hour mostly laughing at one another until Connie got a call from Jacob
"Hey Jacob are you ok?
" yeah I'm fine I'm just letting ypou know that I am home"
"Ok we will be home shortly see you in a bit"
"Ok love you sweet cheeks"
"I love you to"
"Right Jacob is now home so we better go, thank you so much Zoe for a wonderful time!" Said Connie getting up to get her shoes.
Connie and grace said their goodbyes and headed home. Connie opened up the door with her key to hear some one banging around in the kitchen
"Hey we are home" she called while walking through the lounge towards the kitchen while grace sat on the couch and put on the TV.
Connie walked into the kitchen to find Jacob slamming a cupboard door shut.
"Oi what did that cupboard every do to you hm?" She smirked.
"Your one funny lady queen b"
" oh I know I am" she said as they walked towards each other. Jacob pit his arms round Connie's waist while she pit her arms round his neck before they both attached their lips to each other.
They pulled away a moment later "so did you have fun with the boys?" Asked Connie still still in Jacobs arms
"Well not as much fun as I could of had with ypou here at home with a few bottles of wine" he smiled
Connie pouted sarcastically before saying in a silly voice " but your the one that wanted to go out in the first place" then smiled as he rolled his eyes.
Grace went to bed about half an hour later while Jacob and Connie curled up on the sofa together.
Suddenly Connie's phone started ringing.... Hanssen.
"Hello henkrik to what do I owe the pleasure?" She asked. Jacob had turned the sound down on the TV.
"Ok thank you for letting me know... Yes see you tomorrow... Bye" Connie ended the call and sat in silence for a few seconds before throwing her phone to the other side of her sitting room. She then got up and went into the kitchen before slamming her hands down repeatedly on the breakfast bar.
Jacob got up obviously startled at the sudden change In Connie's behaviour.
"Connie what the hell just happened?"
"He is a bloody bastard that's what just happened! Henrik Hanssen is a bloody bastard that only ever thinks about him self!" She awnsered then again slammed her hands down omn the breakfast bar.
Jacob went round to connie and took her away from the work surface before she did any damage to herself. "Right Connie you need to take a breath then when you are ready tell me what's going on"
Connie went back into the sitting room and spreader her self out on the floor and just closed her eyes to calm down. Jacob followed her in and sat on the sofa and waited until she was ready.... But he didn't have to wait long.
Connie looked towards him while laying on the floor the started to explain.
"Henrik has bombarded me with 6 new F2's. But me and Zoe are frowning in paperwork to look after them"
"Ok so give them F2's your signature death glare then show them the door"
"If only it were that simple" she sighed.
"Ok so if there is 6 of them give 2 to Spence 2 to Hardy and 2 to Keogh that saves your time and zoes."
"Yeah OK that's not a bad idea" she said.
"Right so now that is sorted are you going to come and sit with me again and give me a cuddle?" He asked.
"Hang on" Connie got up and walked over to were she threw her phone and took a look to see if it was smashed. "I was lucky on the one. My phone didn't smash or anything."
The next day
Connie was in work by 9 o clock and when she arrived she saw the new F2's waiting in reception. She walked past with grace and Jacob beofr wgoing to her office to dump her stuff anmd leave grace to do wahgt ever she was doing.
She went to the nurses station and asked for micheal Ethan and Dylan to follow her to reception along with Jacob so if anything went wrong he would just be there to help her out.
"Right hello my name is Mrs Beauchump and I am the ED's clinical lead! Now you will be assigned with a mentor then yoih will complete your weeks training here before you move to your next assignment. Of you have any questions please ask you mentor and if you are not going to comply then the door is that way" she raised her right hand and pointed it in the direction of the door.
"I will leave you three smen to sort out who you will take" she said directing the payment at the 3 consultants bepofre heading back to her office with Jacob.
She sat down at her desk while Jacob made sure grace was ok then looked up as Connie started to speak. "Right looking at the state of all these emails and the amount of paperwork that is in my desk then I reckon itas going to be a long day which means I need many drinks ready for when get home"
"I. Sure that can be arranged Mrs B." Said Jacob before kissing graces and Connie's heads then heading out to do some work leaving Connie to do her paperwork and grace to do some maths.
