Connie Jacob and grace were now back in England and Connie and Jacob were back at work!!
Zoe and Connie had become best friends lately... So much so that they acted like 2 teenagers rather than adults. Always gossiping about something Zoe talking about max Connie talking about Jacob and grace. Ever since Connie came back from hawii everyone obviously knew she and Jacob were together but she had softened a lot on every one.
Connie and Zoe were sat in Connie's office as they were both on a break, however Jacob had taken grace round the department because she was so bored.
Suddenly somebody walked through the door. A tall person. Male.
Connie's head snapped to the door but before she could shout at them for not knocking she was looking at them straight in the eye.
"No just no... You are not taking her... I don't care how many times you ask you will never take her from me..." Said Connie tears in her eyes vioce wavering.
"Connie please let me explain"
"No Sam no I don't want to hear what you have to say... You are not taking my daughter" Zoe got up to call security... She knew what Sam could be like.
At that point Jacob came in.
"Babe are you ok?" He said looking form the man to Connie and Connie to the man. But Connie kept her eyes on Sam not moveing.
Grace knew exactly who he was and ran passed Connie and round to the other side of Connie's desk to zoe who was still on the phone to security but also gave grace a one armed hug just so she felt a little protection
Jacob went over to Connie who had tears spilling down her cheeks.
"Get out Sam" said Connie vioce still wavering, but when he didn't move she screamed at him" I said get out... You will never have grace after what you did to her and me when she was little... You lying bastard.. You will never have her never."
At that point security turned up an dragged Sam out of the office. Connie's legs gave way and she collapsed into a heap on the floor shaking and tears still coming hard and fast.
Zoe held on to Grace so she wouldn't run out of the office and get herself lost in the hospital. Jacob crouched down to Connie's level and tried to get her to calm down but she just pushed away his hands and fought back.
"Zoe take grace to the staff room. I don't want her to see her mum in and even more worst stat then she already is"
Zoe nodded and took graces hand and led her to the staff room.
As zoe left Charlie walked in to see what all the screaming was about then saw Connie on the floor crying and ran over.
"Connie what happened?"
"S....s....Sam" she stuttered.
"Ok Connie listen to me... It's over... He's gone... He can't do anything to Grace OK." Said Charlie. He was like a father to zoe and Connie he's known them for years always protecting them and making sure there not in any sort of danger.
"Charlie what's going on?" Said Jacob he still obviously didn't know about Sam.
"Sam is graces father and when she was 6 months old he decided to take her away and he didn't tell me. I thought he was going to kill her but then he brought her back on her 1st birthday so 6 months later then disappeared" said Connie who butted in. She now had controlled of her breathing and her shaking and was wiping the tears away from her eyes.
"Oh my god babe... Why didnt you tell me" he said pulling her into a hug
"Because it was 9 years ago.. And me and grace don't like talking about it. I really struggled telling her what he did when she ask why she had never had a dad" Jacob rocked her back and forth and mouthed to Charlie 'go and get grace. She's in the the staff room' Charlie got up and left.
