6 months had gone since cal had been put into prison for attempted murder of connie! It had been months since Sam decided he would show his face.
Connie had nothing to worry about! She had Jacob, the most amazing husband she could ask for, she had grace her sweet 14 year old daughter, her sister who was auditioning for big films, paige her unbiological sister who was just brilliant at everything, she had charlie who was practically her dad, but she also had Zoe and max who were her rocks!
It was a Saturday morning. May 4th. Connie was sat out side with her glass of wine as it was beautifully sunny. She was just enjoying the sun when someone came and stood infront of her and blocked the sun.
"Mr Masters do you mind getting out of my sun?" She said putting her sun glasses on the top of her head
"No do you?" He replied with a smirk.
"Yes I bloody well do! Seeing as we don't get much of it here in bloody britain!!!"
"Ok OK" he laughed "I just came out to say your phone was ringing. It was Clary I didnyt get to it in time to awnser it"
"Oh cheers hun!"
Jacob handed her, her phone before sitting himself on the chair next to her. "Oh and btw paige and grace went out to get a few tubes of ice cream they should be back soon."
"Ok cool, right let me just ring back Clary"
Connie dialed her number and waited, she awnsered on the 3 ring
"CONNIE!!"
"CLARY"
"WHY ARE WE SHOUTING DOWN THE PHONE?"
"I DONT KNOW!"
both the girls fell into laughter
"Anyway I missed you call, what's up?"
"Oh I just wanted to say I have just got a main part and that I'm coming back to holby today because they don't start filming for another 2 weeks"
"Clary that's huge!! I'm so proud and happy for you! A huge congratulations"
"Thank you! Now I should be in holby by 9pm tonight"
"Ok cool do you need picking up?"
"No no its fine I have arranged transport, have you still got that spare bedroom I can borrow? If not I will stay in a near by hotel?"
"Ah he's about that... Do you remeber my best friend paige who I used to work with when I was on cardiothrasics?"
"Oh yeah! She was great fun! I remeber we were at a pub once and she made me laugh so much that my wine came out my nose!"
"Ha ha yes that was hysterical! Anyway, guess who she is?"
"Pretty much our unbiologlical sister, duh!"
"Yeah as well as that she's Jacobs sister!!"
"Oh my god! That makes today like 10 times better ha ha!"
"I know! Anyway I better let you get on and I will see you later tonight! Are you gonna book a hotel room for two weeks starting tonight or do you want to crash on our sofa for tonight!"
"Can i crash on you sofa please and then we can sort out hotels tomorrow"
"Ok sounds like a plan! See you later love you!"
Connie out the phone down then looked at a very puzzeled Jacob.
"Right, question time! 1. What's huge? 2. Is Clary coming back to holby? 3 what was hysterical involoving my sister?"
Connie laughed at his questions as well as his facial expression.
"Ok, 1. Clary has just got a main part in a film! 2. Yes she is coming back for 2 weeks as they don't start filming for another 2 weeks and 3. Basically when I still working with your sister on Darwin my sister and paige dragged me out to a night club to loosen up a bit as Elliot had grace! Anyway paige made Clary laugh so much that she made white wine come out of her nose! We were all in fits of laughter as was the bartender as he saw the whole thing!"
"Ok is bad i can see your sister doing something like that?!"
They both sat there laughing beofre grace poped her round the door to say they had tubs of ice cream.
"Do you want me to put them in the freezer? We brought one each."
"I don't know about you but I want my tub and a spoon please, so pass it over" said Connie with a smile.
The 4 of them sat down out side in the sun bepfre Connie spoke up again
"Oh paige and grace, Clary called to say that she has just got a main part in a film and that she is coming back to holby for 2 weeks as they don't start filming for a fortnight"
"That's amazing news!" Said grace with a huge grin.
"We are goinna have so much fun these next couple of weeks!!" Said paige
9pm slowly rolled around and the adualts were still outside talking whole grace went up to bed with Connie promising that she will wake her as soon as Clary arrived.
At 9:40 they heard a knock at the door and Connie went running through the house and opened up the door to find Clary stood there with a massive grin.
Before either of them got a word in they both flung there arms around each other.
They pulled away then Connie helped her take her bags through to the living room and they stepped out into the garden to greet everyone.
Everyone congratulated Clary on her part in the film beofre Connie remembered her promise to Grace.
"Hey Clary I promised grace that I would wake her as soon as she showed up do you want to go up with me?"
"Yeah sure!"
Clary went into the room while Connie stood in the doorway.
"Hey Gracie wake up for me" said Clary softly
"Hey mum.... Is she here yet" asked grace rubbing her eyes oblivious to the fact that she was actually talking too Herr mums twin sister!
"If by 'she' you mean me then yes I am here"
"Auntie Clary!" Grace exclaimed and threw her arms round her aunt.
"Hello darling! You ok?"
Grace nodded while still hugging Clary. Connie Clary and grace had come to an agreement that grace could stay up until 10:30 otherwise she would be to tired for tomorrow.
They all went down stairs and oiut into the garden while they all chatted and Clary and paige caught up on gossip and stuff as they hadn't seen eachother in years!!
