My parents turned to see me frozen in place. "Jess...?" My mom said cautiously. "Is everything okay?" Slowly making her way towards me. I just nodded and remained stunned. What she didn't know, is that Mark had favorited my tweet. The one about new videos coming soon. He even commented "can't wait to see them! :)"
This wasn't happening. This was just some illusion. It wasn't really him. I looked at the account and sure enough, there was the blue check mark. My heart started pounding. The room was spinning. No way! Mark actually noticed me! I wasn't another fan swept up in the crowd. Holy crap!

Eventually I calmed down enough to go grocery shopping. But even though my mind was half there, the other half was me sitting on my phone actually conversing with Markiplier himself. I smiled like an idiot.

As soon as my parents and I got back with the groceries, we put them away. Then my parents decided it was time for them to head home.
After they got done packing, we all hugged for a good five minutes. It was gonna be hard to live without them. After all, I had been depending on them for 17 years of my life and they provided me with a roof over my head, food on the table and running water for the remaining 7 years. I love my parents. They have done so much for me and I don't know how I'd ever repay them.
About 20 minutes later the door finally closed and there I was; standing in the middle of my living room. Alone.
This was my life now. Living on my own, no parents, no neighbors, no nothing.
Just me. A girl with her camera. Ready to take on LA.
