Chapter 33

We pulled into the driveway and before we got into the house, her dad told me to give him the ring box. I looked at him questioningly then handed the box over. "Just so there's no revealing anything too early" he said, putting the box in his back pocket. I must have looked worried because he said "Don't worry. I'll make sure to put it somewhere safe." he told me. I breathed a sigh of relief and walked in the door. I saw Jess and my heart fluttered. She was still in her pj's and had no makeup on, she was sipping on a cup of coffee. She looked up when she heard me come in. I smiled at her and she grinned back. She ran and hugged me, I wrapped my arms around her. She was giggling. "What's got my Jessaroo so giggly." I asked her. "Nuuuuuuuuuthin!" she said laughing. I couldn't help but laugh with her.

We walked into the kitchen and her mom was sitting at the table. She was smiling as well. "What's going on?" I asked. They both looked at each other and laughed. I looked at them both. "What?" I asked again. Her mom finally spoke by saying "Jessica was just telling me about you." I looked at Jess and raised my eyebrows. "Oh really. Like what?" I asked. She just looked at me and snickered. "How you snore." she laughed. "How when you are finished playing a rage game, you walk out and your head is so red it looks as though it's going to explode." She was about to die from laughing so much. I could feel my face turning red from embarrassment. "See mom?!" she said. "It's just like that!" "That's it!" I exclaimed. I started tickling her. She started moving away, squealing and laughing. She eventually got far enough away for me, and started running throughout the house. I chased after her; she gave short little screams. "DON'T TICKLE ME!" she shrieked, looking over her shoulder. "DON'T SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT ME!" I yelled back. I finally caught her and picked her up from behind, and swung her in a circle. She couldn't stop laughing. She was breathing heavily. I looked at her. "Hey, you okay?" I asked her in a hushed tone. "Yeah, honey." she said and she kissed my cheek. "Just catching my breath, I'm good." I breathed a sigh of relief.

Later on that night, I was sitting in the kitchen and I heard Jess watching a video. I heard a familiar voice, I got closer and saw it was none other than Jacksepticeye. She watched the video and I could see she absolutely adored him. "Who ya watching there?" I asked as I sat next to her. She showed me the screen with a grin, "Jacksepticeye!" she was beaming. I chuckled. "You really like him?" I asked. She paused the video and looked at me, placing a hand on my arm. "I love him, but I love you way more." she said, looking me in the eyes. I smiled when suddenly an idea popped into my head. I held up a finger and took my phone out. I stood up and dialed a number, she went back to playing her video. I held the phone up to my ear as it rang then a voice came on the other line. "MARK!" I jumped and held the phone away from my ear. I guess I should've expected that, Sean was a loud ass. "Ow!" I exclaimed into the phone. "Sorry, but how long have you known me?" he questioned. "Shouldn't you know that this ol' Irish man yells?" he laughed. "Yeah yeah," I walked towards Jess. "Anyway, there is someone here who I want you to say hi to." I told Sean. "Ohkay?" he said cautiously. "It's my girlfriend." I told him. "Oh!" he sounded so much more relieved. "Well, what are you waiting for?! Put her on!" he said. I walked over and Jess looked up. "Pause the video a sec, hon." I told her. She did with a curious look on her face. I handed her the phone. "Say hello." I told her. She hesitated, then put the phone to her ear and slowly said "Hellloo?"

"Hey, how's it goin?" Sean said on the other line. Her face lit up. She put her hand over her mouth. "Hello?" Sean asked. "Yes, hi!" she looked like she was about to burst into tears. "How are you?" he asked her. "I'm good!" she said happily, she put her hand over the phone and said high pitched "It's him! It's Jack!" I laughed. "I know! Talk to him!" I told her. She went back to the phone and said "How are you?"

"I'm good, Mark tells me you're a pretty big fan." he said. She nodded then remembering he couldn't see her, she said "...Yeeeeaaaahhh." Sean laughed and then said "Well, Mark can't sing your praises enough. He really adores you." She blushed and looked at me. I encouraged her to keep talking. "Ummm," she said. "What's on your mind pretty lady?" he asked. "I just wanted to say I love your channel and your videos. I always count on you to make me feel better when I was having bad days. Please don't stop doing what you do. I can tell you that you make me and a bunch of other people very very happy." she told him. The line was quiet and then I heard "Now I know why Mark's always talking highly of you. That was so sweet, thank you!" Sean said. "You're welcome." she said. I held out my hand and she looked at me. "Oh, well Mark wants to talk to you. It was amazing to get a chance to talk to you. I hope we get to talk in person." She said. "I hope so as well, you are a very sweet lady. I'm looking forward to meeting you in person." Sean said. "Okay, bye!" Jess said. She handed the phone back to me and she started to fangirl. "OHMIGOD!" she said over and over. I smiled at her then took the phone back. I started talking again, "what do you think?" I asked Sean. "Dude, she's the best! How haven't you tied the knot yet? Man! Put a fucking ring on it!" he exclaimed. I laughed and got up, walking into the next room; trying to remain out of earshot. I whispered "Actually, I was planning on putting a fuckin ring on it this Christmas. She doesn't know." I heard him face palm himself faintly on the other end. "Ohhhhhhhh...and I probably just fucking shited all over any chance of keeping it a secret." he moaned out. I peeked my head out to see her still enjoying some Jack videos. I pulled my head back. "I don't know, I don't think she noticed over her fangirling." I told him. He laughed lightly then told me he had to get back to work on some videos. "I'll talk with you later, man. Tell me her reaction. I can't wait to meet her." he said. "I was already planning on recording it. I'll send it to you before even editing it." I told him. "You're putting it on YouTube?! That's gonna get a shit load of hate from your fangirls." Sean said. "I know, but if it means I get her, I'll take all the hate." I told him. "You fucking softie." he told me. We shared a few more words then said goodbye and hung up. I walked back into the room with Jess who was just sitting on the couch now, hugging her knees. I stood and looked at her; taking in that view. She turned her head so she was looking out the window. The sun hit her face just right and I swear, I saw what heaven looked like. I walked up to her and sat behind her. I wrapped my arms around her and she just laid her head on my arm. We sat in silence. "If only she knew..." I thought to myself. "If only she knew..."
