"I'M ENGAGED!" I screamed into the camera. I pulled Mark into the frame and wrap an arm around him. He was still wearing the cheeky grin since he had gotten on one knee, and I was on cloud nine. I kissed him on the cheek and then showed off the ring to the camera. I couldn't stop looking at it. It was stunning. "I actually got him proposing, so if you want to see it, leave a comment and I will post it!" I did my outro and then stopped recording. I put my phone in my back pocket. I looked at him, he was still grinning that goofy smile and I couldn't help but smile myself. I pulled him into a hug. "How's my fiance?" he asked. The word itself felt foreign to me. 'Fiance', I just started to grin. Was this man really going to be mine for the rest of our lives? My heart smiled at the thought of him in a tuxedo.

After all of us had gotten ready, we made our way to my grandparents. There, we had a second Christmas celebration. All of my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents were there. We first ate dinner, full of mashed potatoes, green beans and other delicious foods. We all then opened our gifts from everyone and soon there was a pile of wrapping paper, bows, and tissue paper all in the center of the room. It was like autumn when you rake a pile of leaves to create a mountain of the remains. We were all sitting while the young ones were playing with their new toys and the adults were drinking coffee, enjoying desserts. Mark was sitting with my little 4 year old cousin, Logan, helping him build his newest toy from me as I was playing with my engagement ring. My grandma came over and she sat next to me on the couch. She started watching Mark and my cousin play; she placed a hand on my thigh and smiled. "You made a good choice," she told me. "I like you're fiance." I just continued to watch. I grinned and then nodded. "Yeah," I said to her. "Me too." Logan and Mark playing together made me think of how much I wanted a family. I had always loved the idea having a family with little feet running throughout the house, and tiny hand print finger paintings brought home from school to hang on the refrigerator. I walked over and sat next to Mark, he only looked up to make room for me. Logan saw me and started showing me the toy he and Mark were working on.

-Mark's POV-

I moved over so Jess could come and sit next to me. Her little cousin, Logan grinned and started presenting the toy he had just gotten to her. I gave a cheeky smile towards them and then got up and walked over to the table with the dessert all laid out. I started to pick through the different sweets and treats as some of her family came up to me and introduced themselves. I made conversation with them. They were asking if Jess and I had picked out a date yet for the wedding, if we had given any idea to what we want as a theme, all that jazz. I told them all one simple answer; "We will decide in due time." I didn't want to stress Jess out and cause another one of her episodes.

I made my way over to see Jess and Logan still playing with his toy. I smiled to myself and the thought came into my head; I wonder how she felt about starting a family. I had always loved kids and the idea of having kids of my own was a thing I'd always wanted.

I went to sit next to her with my plate of desserts, she looked at me and gave me a cheeky smile; then stole a cookie off the plate. "Hey!" I said and put an arm around her pulling her in close to me. We both sat there watching Logan and a few other younger kids play with their toys. Jess put her head on my shoulder and I rubbed her back gently, kissing the side of her head. "I love you, Jess." I told her. "I love you too, Mark." She said back to me.
