He and I stood there in my lawn just hugging one another, my cheek still on his chest. I could hear his heart beating. It was very calming.
"I don't wanna let go." I said quietly.
"Then don't." He told me gently. Hugging me tighter.
"Can we at least go inside then?" I asked. "It's kinda weird that we are standing in the middle of my lawn hugging for so long. People are probably staring."
"Good. Let them stare." He said. He released me from his bear hug and took my hands. "I want people to know that I am with the most beautiful girl in all the world."
I blushed and he kissed my cheek.
"I guess we could go inside though." He said, making his way to the door, our hands still intertwined. He walked in through the front door, which I guess I left open. Whoops.
He let go of my hand and went into the living room.
I shut the door and walked into the living room. He was sitting on the couch and was on his phone. "Whatcha doing there?" I asked him sitting in the chair next to the couch. "Uploading that video I just took." He said without looking up from his phone.
"Good thing I put make up on then. Otherwise I'd scare the viewers with my zombie face." I said.
He looked up at me and scowled. "Stop it. You are gorgeous." He told me.
I held up my hands defensively. "Okay fine. I'm gorgeous."
He went back to his phone.

I got up and went into the kitchen. I walked around a bit and then opened the fridge.
"Hey hon?" I called while staring at the fridge.
"What's up, buttercup?" He called back. "You want anything to eat? Anything to drink?" I checked out the food in the fridge, looking it up and down.
"Whatcha got?" He asked me.
The question was more like what didn't I have? My parents and I packed the refrigerator and the pantry. You could open a grocery store in this place.
"Where do I even begin?" I said closing the refrigerator and then looked around.
I turned back around and I got startled as he was standing there.
I jumped and put my hand on my chest. My breathing got a bit heavier and I bent over slightly.
"Jess..?" He started walking over. My breathing got shallow. I tried to stand up straight, but I couldn't.
"Jess?" I felt his hand on my back. My knees buckled and I fell. Both my hands were over my chest which felt like it was concaving. I started to shake. My breathing was heavy and I couldn't breathe very well.
All of a sudden I feel his arm around my back and the other under my knees and he carried me out to his car. He sat me in the passenger side and put my seatbelt on. Then he ran to the drivers side and got in. He threw his seatbelt on and then floored it out of the driveway.
"W-w-w-what's ha-ha-happening?" I asked him, struggling to speak.
"Just try to breathe Jess, you're okay, I'm right here." He said calmly, but I knew there was panic in his voice.
I don't know who was more scared, me or him.

We got into the emergency wing and he ran in. My legs had become stiff and paralyzed. My entire body was tingly and by now I was hyperventilating. I couldn't move.
"C'mon Jess, I'm right here." He coached gently. He unbuckled the seatbelt and I looked at him. I could see the fear in his eyes and a look of absolute panic washed over his face. We had parked and 2 nurses were back with him. One was holding a stretcher, the other was waiting to help Mark if he needed it.
"I-I c-c-c-can't m-mm-m-move." I said shakily.
He didn't waste any time with swinging my legs around. Then he put his arm under my knees and then put his other arm around my back, he picked me up and walked me over to the stretcher. He laid me down and the nurses started to wheel me into the emergency doors.
I got an oxygen mask put over my mouth and then the last thing I remember was looking up at Mark, who was running along side me; holding my hand.
Then
Black.
