Chapter 14

Mark and I were sitting in my recording room, editing our videos.
The only thing was, he and I weren't talking. Not because we were working, but because that whole thing happened.
I felt bad. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to talk but I didn't know what to say.
We didn't speak the whole time until he had to go back home.
I ended up finishing all my editing and was waiting for the videos to upload.
I heard his laptop close and I heard him stand up. I turned around and saw him standing there.
"Hey Jess, I gotta get going. I'll talk to you later?" He said quietly.
"Oh, yeah." I put my laptop on the table and stood up to hug him. He wrapped his arms around me and we just held each other. I put my ear over his chest and could hear his heart beating. I tightened my grip slightly and could feel him do the same.
When we finally released, I could see a look in his eye that made me a bit nervous. I didn't think anything of it.
"Oh hey," he said. "Before I forget, why don't I get your phone number. So that way we don't have to worry about waiting for Twitter."
I agreed and we swapped phone numbers.

After he left I walked around the house and sulked. My stomach growled but I didn't feel like eating.
I put on my oversized Markiplier hoodie and I just wanted to curl up and sleep. I started to feel sick from not eating but I still didn't want to eat.
I eventually fell asleep without eating anything.
