-Jessica's POV -
I woke up the next morning; smiling. I got a chance to meet Mark. I couldn't believe it.
Also, he hugged me! I wonder if he felt my heart pounding...
I should've told him about my crush on him. I should've asked for his number. I should've tried to show him I like him more. I didn't want to scare him off though. I don't want him to think I'm some freak who stalks him on the Internet.
No, where we are is good. I didn't wanna change how good the relationship between us was.
I pulled out my phone, saw the time and sighed. If there was one thing I hated about being a YouTuber, it was editing. The recording was fun. Getting to act like a lunatic in front of a camera, but then when the red light turns off; then comes editing.
Editing is the only thing I hated. I had about 3 videos to get through. I trudged into my recording space and sat down in my chair.
I turned on the monitors and pulled out my camera and laptop. "Time to start this bitch."
About half way through editing my phone chimed. A message from Mark on Twitter. My heart jumped. I slid my phone open and looked at the message: "I had such a great time last night. I hope we can meet up again soon!"
I smiled and started typing back: "I had a great time too. I felt like I made a new friend. If you wanna meet up today, I'm just editing some videos."
Send.
I went back to editing. 10 minutes later; *ding*
"Sure! You want me to come now?"
I typed back: "whenever. It doesn't matter."
Send.
After 10 minutes he said he'd be over in 30.
I contemplated if I wanted to make myself presentable or not. I was sitting in my pj pants and a big t-shirt with a beanie on to hide my bed head.
Nah. Not going anywhere. Why sit in the house and be pretty with no where to go?
I went back to editing.30 minutes later I heard a knock at my door.
"That's probably him."
I closed my laptop and set it on the table.
"COMING!" I yelled.
I went down the stairs and opened the door.
"Hey!" I said with a smile.
"Hey yourself." He said smiling back.
"C'mon in. You'll catch a cold if you stay out there too long."
He walked in the door. "That's a joke right? We live in Los Angels."
I shut the door. "Of course it's a joke you moron." I laughed and teasingly pushed him.
"C'mon upstairs. You can see my recording room."
"Okay." He said.
He followed me up the stairs and I walked into my recording room and sat back down in my chair. He stood in the door way and looked around.
"I know it's not much, but it's my sanctuary." I said while rocking back and forth in the wheelie computer chair I had.
"No I like it." He said. "Is that one of my posters?" He asked walking over to the wall of posters I had behind me.
"Yeah..." I said shyly. "I'm a fangirl." I giggled.
He turned his head to look at me and he smiled.
"So," he said turning all the way around. "I wanna see these videos your working on. Show me."
"No!" I exclaimed. "You'll have to see them when they come out!" I said jokingly.
"Oh c'mon..." He said slowly walking over. "Just a quick peek?" He started to reach for my laptop.
I smacked his hand. "No, Mark!"
He looked at me with this expression of "you shouldn't have done that."
He started tickling me. I hate being tickled.
"MARK!" I screamed and laughed.
I kicked and threw my body around laughing hysterically. "MARK STOP!"
He didn't stop. I threw my body violently, causing him to loose his balance and fall on top of me. We both laughed for 5 minutes straight; then he tried to get up. His hands very close to me and then he looked up; his face was so close to mine. Practically inches apart. "Kiss him, Jess! Kiss him!" Before I could even move; he picked himself up and stood up.
"Sorry, I-I-I didn't mean to-...I mean...I." He stammered.
"No it's my fault. I should have told you...I-I-I hate being ticked..." I said.
"Umm..." He said. His face was red. What was he so embarrassed for? I'm the one who should've just let him see the damn video.
"I-I uh, I brought over my computer to...um...so that way...I could edit my videos too..." He said sheepishly; his face even redder than before.
"Oh, okay." I said.
"I'll just go...get it...out of my car..." He said making his way out of the room. As soon as I heard the door close, I face palmed myself. "You're such a fucking moron Jess. Why wouldn't you just be courageous enough to just plant one on him? Idiot." I said to myself.
I set my laptop down on my lap and went back to work.
