-Jessica's POV-

It was Christmas morning. Mark was just waking up next to me as I turned over and was greeted by his big brown eyes. I smiled at him and moved in closer to him. "Good Morning." He groaned out, stretching. "Merry Christmas." I said kissing his cheek. I put my head on his chest and then closed my eyes again. There was definitely something about waking up to his face that made my heart float. I loved knowing he was mine. "Merry Christmas." I replied back, running my hand up his stomach. He looked at me and smiled; then kissing the top of my head, he wrapped his arms around me; enveloping me into a hug. "I love you." he said pulling me on top of him. "I love you too." I kissed his cheek.
We both laid there a few extra minutes then we got up and made our way downstairs. The tree was illuminated by the white lights and the sun was giving the snow outside a soft glisten. I smiled, I had almost forgotten what the snow looked like. LA didn't really get that cold during the winter. I couldn't get into the Christmas spirit without snow. It didn't feel the same at all.
My parents were sitting at the table sipping on coffee. They smiled as they saw us walk into the kitchen. "Good morning, Merry Christmas!" my mom greeted us. "Good morning and a Merry Christmas to you as well." I replied. "Are you ready to open presents?" she asked us. I looked at Mark and he nodded. "We're ready!" I said excitedly.
We all walked into the living room with the tree and multiple wrapped packages underneath it. We all claimed our spots, then my dad and Mark distributed the gifts. We each had a mound of gifts at our feet. "I think my parents should open their gifts first." I said. My parents looked at me and smiled. They started to unwrap their gifts. I got my parents each a mug and a package of their favorite candy. My parents smiled and thanked me.  Then Mark got up and went to hand his gifts to my parents. He got them each a gift card to one of our favorite restaurants. They looked at him. "Mark," my mom said, shocked. "You didn't have to get us anything!" she said. "It's okay." Mark said to her.

Mark and I then took turns opening gifts. Before we even started, Mark jumped up. "WAIT!" he shouted. He then ran out of the room. He then returned with his camera and started to set it up. "Marky," I said. "I've been recording this whole time, I point to my camera sitting on it's tripod. He shrugged and continued to set up his camera. He came and sat back down next to me on the floor. He started opening a gift from me, which was some new lenses for his camera. I then opened mine, which was some new clothes that I had been talking about since he moved in with me. We continued going back and forth until the last gift each. "You go first." I told him. He hesitated before tearing into the wrapping paper covered in white snowflakes. He got a glimpse of what was under the paper; he turned to face me and his jaw dropped. "You DIDN'T!" he exclaimed. I giggled and motioned for him to continue opening. He torn the paper off then his eyes were bulging out. I laughed as he came up and gave little kisses all over my face. "I LOVE YOU!" he practically shouted. "What is it?" my mom asked. I took the item from him and held it up to show my mom. It was a Game Grumps poster signed by each of the Grumps. My mom looked impressed, even though I knew she had no idea who they were. Mark finally calmed down a bit. "Alright," he said. "You're turn. Last gift." He got up and went to put the camera closer. "Is that still recording?" he asked and my dad nodded. He then took a deep breath and then came back over to me. He took my hands and stood me up. I looked confused. "Jessica," Mark said. I looked at him. His palms started to feel sweaty and he had this look of extreme nerves. I just smiled at him.

-Mark's POV-

There I stood with her facing me. She smiled that illuminating smile at me, which only made the pounding in my chest harder. I swear I thought she could hear it. I took another deep breath and then continued with the speech I had prepared. "When I first met you, we started off as Twitter buddies. I didn't really expect things to turn out this way. Now, I wouldn't go back and change it for anything." I could feel my palms sweating, I was so nervous. "I don't think I've ever been so close to someone as I am with you. You have become the single most important thing in my life. You inspire me, you make smile on the days when I want to shut the world out, you make me laugh hysterically with you just doing one tiny thing. I know that we've been dating for not even a year yet, but I can feel it." I cleared my throat. "Can feel what?" she asked with a tone of confusion in her voice. She searched my face in hopes for an answer. "This." I said and then let go of one of her hands and dropped to one knee. Her jaw dropped and she brought her one hand over her gaping mouth. I could hear her mom gasp but all my focus was on her. "Jess," I said smiling. "Look at me baby." She turned her head so she was facing me. I took a tighter grasp on the hand I was still holding. "Jessica, you have been my biggest fan, biggest supporter through me filming all those videos; I have become your biggest fan. I love you with every fiber of my being, I want nothing more than to be the one that wakes up to you every morning and the one that gets to fall asleep next to you every night." I reached into my back pocket and pulled out the small box and opened it. "Will you please make me the luckiest man alive, and marry me?" I asked her. I could see some tears forming and she was nodding. "Is that a yes?" I asked with a smile. "Yes, yes, the answer is 100% yes!" I grinned and slipped the ring on her ring finger on her left hand. I then stood up and she placed her hands on my cheeks, pulling me in for a kiss. I kept kissing her, putting my hands on either side of her neck; deepening the kiss. When our lips parted, I gently pressed our foreheads together. I could hear clapping and her dad cheering. I opened my eyes and looked over to see her dad holding his phone with one hand, while pumping the other in the air. I laughed and saw her mom with tears in her eyes. I smiled at her and then turned back to Jess. She was beaming. I don't think I had ever made a more perfect decision in my life.
