Chapter 27:
Cameron-
I just held Stacey's mother in my arms until she stopped sobbing. She wiped her cheeks and looked feverishly towards the CT door again. It'd been about two or three minutes now and nor me or Stacey's mother had heard anything.
Finally a man emerged from the room and he looked towards us, "Are you the Sun's?" he asked solemly
"Yes" Stacey's mother answered her breath catching slightly
"I'm very, very sorry and I don't exactly know what happened but we lost her" he hung his head in defeat
"WHAT?!" I bellowed not being able to contain my rage, "Did I just hear you correctly?! She's not dead! She's seventeen years old, for Christ's sake!"
"I'm sorry" he repeated
I laughed harshly, "Stop being sorry and go back in there and go get her! She's not dead!" I yelled again, I grabbed the doctor by the collar of his coat and shook him "SHE'S NOT DEAD! YOU'RE LYING" I couldn't hold back my hysteria.
"I'm so so sorry, Cameron" he just kept repeating the words and I wanted to believe he was sorry but I couldn't . Suddenly strong arms enveloped me and I was being dragged away from the doctor. I quickly comprehended it was security but I wounded go down without a fight.
"Let go of me!" I struggled against him, but despite my own brute strength he was mch, much stronger, "LET GO!" I hollered. I was carried into a vacant room and the secruity guard pressed me up against the cold wall.
"You have got to calm down, Sir!" he bellowed back at me. I let a small cry escape my lips.
"How can I be calm?! My whole world has been ripped away from me, and you want me to be calm? How will I ever live again, let alone be calm!" I spat back, still pressed up against the wall.
I was so done with life, more specifically my life. Why did everything have to go horribly wrong? Why did everyone important to me have to die? It was so unfair.
"Okay, I'll let you go if you stop harrasing the doctor" he said slowly almost intimidating
"Fine!" I bit back harshly, he grip loosened and I wrenched my arms away. Rubbing my wrists I exited the room to where Stacey's mother was sitting on the floor crying her eyes out. I walked over to where she was sitting, sat down and let the floodgates open.
