Manan- Destiny Its Meant To Be

They travelled for about 1 hour from Murthy mansion and reached their destination..
It was pan Asia restaurant.. One of the most famous restaurants in Mumbai....
( in our story nandini is not a vegetarian.. Btt she is fond of tasting various dishes)..
Nandini was abt to open her door when manik stopped her.. She was a bit shocked by his act BT she trusted him unknowingly.. So she stood calm..
Our manik as a gentleman first opened his door and moved towards her door and opened the door , offered her his hand ..
She was smiling by his decent acts and happily accepted his hand..
She came out and he closed the door..  The guard took keys from him and gave the token to him..
Manik then stood to her right and folded his left arm such that there is a gap in the folding...she placed her right hand on the gap between his arm and they moved in..
Manik had already made a reservation for them in a private space...

He pulled out the chair for her and made her sit... He took the seat in front of her..
Both of them were nervous as it was their first meet... Breaking the silence nandini started...
Nandu: I thought manik malhotra is a brave person ( sarcastically)..
Manik(confused): what??
Nandu (laughing): haan see.. Iam with manik malhotra and can u believe this he is quite...I mean... He is afraid to talk to a girl..!! Strange naa...
Manik(laughing):oh... Yah..  Atleast not more than u miss nandini Murthy (winking)..
Nandu: acha...(smiling)
Manik: I thought u are very reserved person and u won't mingle with me easily...btt I think I was wrong..
Nandu(smiling): actually.. Ur guess is crct btt I don't know y.. Don't take me wrong... I don't feel awkward with u.  It feels like we r close friends frm so many years..
It's seriously strange for me too....
Manik was jst staring at her and listening keenly to her every single word..
The waiter came and disturbed them ...
Waiter: sirr... Your order please..
Manik: just give us a few minutes..
Waiter: k sir..
And he leaves..
Manik: nandini!! What would you like to have?? I want to know your tastes...ur likes and dislikes..
Manik(pov): wth with u manik!! What are u doing?? What will she think about u??
Nandu: actually.. (Hesitatingly) I too wanna know ur tastes...
Manik(smiling): k soo.  Let's do one thing... Let's have each others fav dishes.. What say??
Nandu: not a bad idea... Btt I have a better idea..
Manik: u r mostly welcome miss Murthy!! (Laughing).
Nandu: k soo Mr. malhotra.. I was thinking let's taste some diff dishes this time.. as i guess we both must have tried each others fav dishes and yah of course let's taste them some other time in our fav spots for those dishes... What say...
Manik(laughing): soo u want to say that u wish to meet me regularly..
Nandu(sarcastically): I didn't say tht... May be u wish to.  Soo I jst suggested.. Thts it..(raising her shoulders)..
Manik:kk.. Chill miss Murthy.. Iam jst kidding.  Come on let's go through the menu...
Both of them laughed out loud and then manik placed the menu in between and both of them started viewing the menu... Finally they decided their lunch menu...
Manik called the waiter...
They decided to share the food... Soo he ordered a Kerala chicken roast, chicken chettinad, 2 Romani roti , 2 cokes.
They had random talks on food items..different dishes they tried in different places...nandini shared her experiences during her camps while manik shared his experiences during his visits for different projects....
The waiter brought their order after 30 Min. Btt it didn't seem late for them as they were so occupied  by their talks and were literally enjoying , laughing, making fun of each other, teasing each other...
They finished their lunch at 3pm.. As it was a private space.. They were not disturbed by people who might think that how much time will they spend and by people who will be disturbed by their laughter...
Both of them spent their time soo happily... As if they were living the moments which were left incomplete..
Manik and nandini were so occupied in their lives that they never noticed that something was incomplete which they are not being able to see... They were happy in their lives with their family and friends btt still something was missing ... May be now nothing is missing...
